Nice graphics. Decent music. I love the pop-up book theme! Some really nice overall polish. But, as others have mentioned, it does get a bit grindy later on, which gets in the way of the overall story.
Out of curiosity, I revived my old account at Armor Games to see what was in the "premium" shop. Four characters can be unlocked for $18.00 ($15 if purchased all at once.) Then skill cards can be purchased @ $2 for a 2-pack or 25 for $15.
By comparison, a game like Fallout New Vegas (game of the year edition) is ~$20 on steam, and has a much better fleshed out story, graphics and gameplay...
Dangerous Adventures 2 is a nice free game, but not worth the price of the premium content. Neverthelss, I'll still give it a good score for the effort put in. And it's completely playable without the premium content, if a bit grindy. 4/5
@Chosticket: At lower levels, the game is not pay-to-win. Later it become PAY-TO-PLAY as supporter tokens are required to buy keys to play harder campaign levels.
This is a great adaptation of chess. 5/5 for gameplay, 4/5 for graphics and design (not fancy, but they do what they need to do) -3/5 for it being pay to win. Yes, you can grind for rubies for all the best pieces, or you can spend 500 kreds for in-game currency to purchase top notch ++ units. With a reasonable understanding of chess, you'll only lose to someone who spent even more money to get the better +++ units.

I can go fill out online surveys for real money if I wanted... This game is just a calculator with slick animations anyway. I'm done with it.
@Bardothren: It sounds like the campaign server might need to be reset. I sent a bug report. This has happened before, and is usually a quick fix once noticed.
