This was a nice little demo of your game, man. Though i wish there was a bit more, giving alot of these new functions some more game time then they got. Also would have been nice to have some kind of menu or congrats screen or something for beating all levels instead of taking us back to Level 1.
The biggest problem with this game is that it expects very specific timing and accuracy, with the addition of making us rush at times. If we're not fast enough, not accurate enough or if we time it just a bit off, we lose everytime. It expects too much. It becomes obvious with Level 17, which i did beat and didn't skip. This was a bad puzzle game, as it really wasn't a puzzle at all. It was just bad gimmicks. No vote from me.
Actually, i just found the pixel farm's progress CAN INDEED be saved... manually. The autosave saves everything... except the Pixel Farm. Just a little warning until fixed.
This is a pretty challenging game. I can tell the bot puzzles were inspired by lightbot. I like how you have to use multiple translators and such to figure out many of the puzzles. The timed math quizzes seem a little too quick, as i had to quickly figure out the maths with my head and only had about 1 second left. Other then that, i give this a 4/5.
I don't have the Hard Badge, but with my 77 in Standard, i think i'm good with that. I could improve on Switch, since i have 58 on that but... i do have a good idea with Challenge if you do this alone:
The game with Q and E. The game with WASD. The game with Shift. This are basically the easiest of the 6 and the controls are all together in a simple way. Get that combo in Challenge and you shouldn't have any trouble.
3X has the worse case of "trick beats". It has the fast beats. It has the drums doing 2 beats when you should only do one. I've tried playing the level muted, it didn't help. I tried playing it blind, the trick beats always screw me. It's the way the music is played that distracts me. Not the background effects, the song is the distraction.
The offbeat is at 0 completely for me, however i feel like the songs either feel off sync or the way the instruments are played distracts or tricks me in the beats. Especially 2-X, where you beat to the piano and then beats start playing that AREN'T part of the line.
Only problem i have with this game is the ending. There's no reward or feeling of accomplishment at the end. It's just a little light show, leading to the opening of the door and entering it. No ending or anything like that? Kinda disappointing.
Aside from that, it's a decent small game. 4/5 stars.
Alot of peoples solutions to getting a high score of 2048 or higher don't really work well... however this one does. It's basically foolproof. Start with Up, Right, Down, Left and repeat this pattern over and over again. You will easily get 2048 and higher.
