You must have a male and female botomon of same species, there's a symbol at the left of all botomons, male is the one with line thingies inside the symbol, female is the one that have grey circle [blurred black], then put both of them in breed from bot collection tab, the breed button is the one with blue color between 1234 and mouse button.
