once you buy a large ship, you have zero money, and they are mostly useless in fights, they absorb massive amounts of damage, and even though they are almost impossible to sink, it costs so much to fix them, that raiding other ships is pointless, because even if you only get hit a few times, it costs more to repair than the amount of "spoils" are worth.
i was really looking forward to a much more dramatically hard Ai, and was rather disappointed, it was still really easy. the only level i had to play more than once was the last level, and that took 3 or 4 plays.
a really good way to fix the energy problem would be to award energy for winning multiplayer duels/arena battles. because when you are out of energy that is all you can do anyway.
i found a serious problem. when you are down to just 2 commanders with no assault cards, or even assault cards that are only siege or strike cards, the game runs by itself for several minutes before it times it out. i got up to 60 or so turns before the game froze. you need to cause some kind of tie, or whoever has the most cards left wins.
dear diary. there were some weird ass trees around today. but i felt strangely protected by the ominous thundercloud raining on me all day. go figure i suppose. hopefully tomorrow will be nice and sunny! then ill go back to the park! :D
one annoying thing, when your facing the boss and use the "infective" missile thing. its absurdly easy.i just shot that once and went to the bathroom after shooting a couple drones and i came back forgetting to pause and i had won the game. i didnt even get shrunk a tank size.
people shouldnt get killed defending the fort when they are out on missions. because you dont get to use them to defend the fort. and they wouldnt be IN the fort, they would be off endeangering their lives somewhere else. its rather unfair to make a poor fella have twice the chance of dying.
i think the best change would be to add a time sensitive goal that being delayed one day actually affects. as it is there is no real punishment for losing.
the hit percentage is BS. if you have 60% hit on an attack, it shouldnt hit every 7th time you use it. the mass amount of missing early in the game is flat out stupid as well.
i love this game, it just really bugs me how terrible the physics are. i mean, a 60.60.90. triangle built from steel will not break under almost any circumstance, and yet it breaks from a small squarish man pushing a goat.
im not sure what happened, but im in the desert, and suddenly i cannot select anything. the spacebar does nothing. and no, my spacebar isnt broken. advice?
games like this, gray, the company of myself, dont look back, and all other thought provoking games leaning towards abstract concepts should have their own category. they are just too amazing to be thrown in with the rest.
