There is a glitch for free food in the .swf file. Open it in fullscreen, go to the food dispenser in Swamp (Grasslands is laggy), then just drag the food to your duck like normal. It respawns and you can max out energy this way.

@EmissionB and anyone else having problems with this game, here's how to play flash games on Kongregate when Supernova doesn't work. Right-click on the game window, inspect element, search for "gamez" (without quotes), copy-paste the section which it highlights into any text editing program, copy everything from "%2F%2Fchat" to the numbers after "kongregate_game_version", decode the URL, and add "supernova://play?swfurl=http:" to the front of the new URL.

if anyone is having trouble with dark mode level 12, try turning off flashing lights and orbit the red ball around where the two blue lights intersect in the middle. The blue ball will be on the opposite side of the oval.
