Need help. I cannot gain gold on the currently assigned objective. I cannot kill one enemy. I have an autoclicker and I can only shave off 1/4 of the health. I need to eject from this and go back to the standard screen. How do I do this?

There are a lot of suggestions down the line, but one of the reasons this game is so great is because it runs well on my 8 year old laptop. I don't have the money to buy a newer one, but your game works beautifully regardless. I guess what I'm asking is not to make the game too big for it's britches. Thanks.
It's a tad click intensive for me. My seven year-old $150 toshiba laptop can't really keep up with the interaction as well. If I click really fast, the game makes the click hold for a while. It's likely on my end though, given how out of date I am.
Strategy: Focus on archer damage. Fastest way to progress. Some bosses upgrade as you do. When attempting those special bonuses, intentionally abstain from upgrading Cleric Heal and Warrior Shield.

Hover the objective icon, use the See All Objectives button and then choose a new objective to start.
