I admit, i played this far too many times in a row before finally having other obligations like ... life...to get back to. But the entire time I was jamming out to the music and stuck halfway between "Lawnmower man inside your head!" and "Use the force, Luke!"
this is the same game as a dozen other Planet capture, virus transfer, whatever...games. Just with a different skin/graphics. the upgrades didn't change it substantially, and as others said, questionable on the functionality of the upgrades.
The ambient music is amazing... I've left the game going in the background just for the music! Gameplay on the 3D level is above par. Kudos to you sir... consider making a sequel with more sectors and ways of interacting with NPCs? Rival faction groups with whom one could build notoriety for busting up their enemies or by accomplishing relevant missions?
done and done... folks remember to put the booster (Healing) truck at the front. Rail gun truck at the back, and rocket launcher in middle. Soon as I made that switch, i went from barely hitting 2000 miles to finishing the game first try.
okay...so now we're combining my favorite Launch game with DUNE?!?! *drool* Well played developer, well played...(am I the only one that caught the "space folding" reference?)
a solid investment early on is to buy 3x scrolls that deal 100 damage to all enemies, then clear out the ridiculously powerful mob in dungeon 2. You can use multiple items in a single turn so you can wipe out the whole encounter without even hitting a single tile. Use the +50% exp item as well and you'll be set..rinse and repeat as you see fit. almost 2k exp for no effort.
Same goes for levels higher on. just spam the damage scroll.
At first, I read the instructions...and then I tried expanding them... "Click.." it says...little did I know, I'd be clicking my soul away, one click after the next.....
I just smashed through the game with archers after they became available. Once you get a few upgrades in damage for archers you can pretty much play the whole game on hard, even your first attempt at levels and beat everything on the first try. I'd say it's a fun game but once you get archers maxed out, you're just toying with levels for fun... it's not much of a challenge... and moving units around, especially the tax men early on makes money irrelevant. Grouping a wall of archers is a sure victory on every level.
classy kitten with a martini made me giggle. Love the game and look forward to similar perplexing adventures in the future. I'm actually thinking about using this "map" of a dungeon as part of my D&D campaign, a bit of a puzzle room the party gets stuck in.
seems like a knockoff of the original Diablo game, interestingly enough, except for the large collection of spells in that game, this one has similar equipment and even the main "town" layout is almost exactly the same.
If only you randomly felt like turning into a super saiyan and evolved into a metapod... Optimus woudn't have known what hit him
