So I guess that I just found out what the ending does. Its a multiplier to your prestige gain on this game. So, you should always restart by the "ending" way, instead of clicking on the Restart button located on "Prestige" tab.
I wonder if there's a relation between the green screen monitors found on school and in player's house secret tunnel? I guess the school are monitoring us. Sequel? 5/5

As Bradlox3 said, the EP are really ruining the game progression. Maybe you should change the system fof something like "get 1 EP for each 30-50 merged blocks independent of the block tier" or something. Since we can merge 2 times on 2s with the double merge passive, it would make the income a lot better.
Just reached base 4. As you said, the game now is really grind. Do you hava an estimate about how long it takes to reach base 3? It looks like it will take forever!!!
I guess I broke the game. I stayed on the top of a swordfish getting damage while capturing him. My cargo went to 2000/32. Now I have a lot of money, but I can't buy any upgrade anymore and my fishermans aren't fishing
The fact that you reduced the "lv locks" helped on the early 3 sets of stages, but its still a problem on stage 17. I found out that the Survive stages are a much better option to farm exp than the "lock stages". But, even using then I would still takes like 30 minutes to reach level 14 from level 11 (it would take like 1 hour and a half farming on stage 17!!!). I see 2 options here: 1) Multiple all exp that enemies give on each set of stages. I guess that an 4x-5x exp multipler would make the game much more viable. 2) Make the bosses give exp too. I actually farmed a lot of gold on ship and slime bosses, but sadly they don't give any exp.
Thanks Nightmare728, now all enemy ship give you ((5 x YOUR LEVEL) + actual mission) ie.:(5 x 3)+3=18 exp; All the bosses now gives u (180 x actual mission), ie.: 180 x 5 = 900, 180 * 10 = 1800, etc.
Stoped playing the game at stage 12, at least for a while. I don't get it why this game have a leveling system, since its only purpose is to lock stages. I think that the game would be a lot better if you removed the leveling stuff and we only 20 stages instead of 25. Oh, and you should edit the "Patience" achievments description, its kind of confuse right now. It would be better someting like "Complete level X with all upgrades on level 0, excluding Fire Rate"
Perfect observation on achievement description. I'll change it now! The level I set to have a ranking base among the players, and also to have some more mission. In the beginning it would buy better weapons. I promise to have more creativity next time. Thanks.
Finally managed to the get impossible badge after a lot of tries. The RNG factor here is absurd. You need to finish the first 6 floors really fast to get the max coins possible. After that, the upgrade focus are catnips and shields. The shields are really necessary, since on Gauntlet lv 7 almost any square that you stops is gonna give you 6+ damage. Even with a lot of strategy, thinking every move that you do, you still need to hope that the RNG god is on your side.
I'm impressed! The only difference is more enemies and the bosses have more health.
