I check my conditions at the beginning of each loop, not in the middle of them.

Jun 28, 2010 8:34pm Break statements aren’t actually a bad thing, and even if they were, they would hardly be the worst thing the game encourages. In particular, it encourages conciseness over efficiency – it’s fine if you waste 50 calls walking into a wall or jumping in place, just as long as you input the minimum number of commands.

Yeah, good point. This reminds me of some microprocessor programming problems where saving space wins out over optimal efficiency. |
