Don't try to rush it if you're trying to get the hard badge. Take your time and measure your jump to avoid dying on the spikes. Notice how every death is due to mistimed jumps instead of falling to the laser. The laser is always just below the screen, so going faster early won't give you any leeway later on. Even though the laser speeds up as you get closer to 350m, the spikes are still the bigger threat. Taking short breaks if you're getting frustrated helps too.
You can sort your guys into teams by renaming them. The list sorts them by alphabetical order, so if you rename the team you use for hunt quests by adding "1. " before their names, you wont have to scroll through looking for the same heroes each time you do a quest.
The essence of the game isn't to mash attack Ilkugar? Why would you want to kill less efficiently than the game allows? I've tried using combos for over an hour, wasted skill points on the useless magic attribute, and it's obvious which way of playing is more efficient. I played this game when the badges first came out too and didn't bother back then. NOT going to bother this time around.
I'm just going to say it: This game IS NOT GREAT. I can't even hold spacebar to auto attack, I'm forced to keep mashing my keyboard for it to do the same thing over and over again. Simple things that are in most good games that have similar elements are completely missing: No reset of skill points or talents, no auto-fire, can't change the awkward controls, useless inventory. Both gameplay and items are constant and repetatvie throughout the entire game, the skills are almost not even worth using other than the heal since they tend to miss/ not catch up/ go through without hitting, or do less damage per second than the simple regular attack. And if you decide they're not worth it and want to put your points into something else... well you can't. I can't understand how this is rated over a 4.
I thought the easiest way to get the badge was to drive on the wrong side of the road from the very start, stay in one lane, and every time you see a car ahead of you in your lane immediately hit space and jump forward and get back in. Keep repeating until you have enough score.
Easiest way to get the hard badge is to go to the options+speedruns settings and set the mode on easy / challenge. When you start running just wait for the doom wave at the very start and try to keep your dino just visible with the exclamation mark over his head as long as you can. Try to jump only the steep hills and obstacles.
I think having a high sensitivity mouse helps a ton for the hard badge. I got the easy and medium badges ages ago and remember thinking the hard wasn't worthwhile trying to get. Came back for the daily badge today after being used to a higher sensitivity mouse and took me like 5 minutes to get the hard badge. Level 3 and the king are the trickiest, but level 3 gets easy really fast.
Thanks for playing XD
