Fizban the Fabulous was a befuddled old mage who suddenly showed up on Krynn during the War of the Lance. Along with Tas, Fizban inadvertently triggered a defense mechanism that blocked the majority of the Red Dragonarmy outside the fortress of Pax Tharkas, allowing the Refugees of Pax Tharkas to escape into the Kharolis Mountains.
It was later discovered that Fizban was an avatar of the god Paladine. Through his friendship with the Kender. Tasslehoff Burrfoot, other kender started to refer to the god of light as Fizban.
Dont know what everyone is griping at the game about forever taking upgrades. If it where so simply to beat then where would the reply fun be.

@nimrodplanete. This game is leaned on the original D&D from 1978+ that was much deadlier then this remake will ever treat a player.
Character classes are balanced on surviving but not each one can complete every quest equally well.
There is a lot more depth to this game then most will notice by rushing through a game or two.
More RPG and less hack 'n slash. The randomness is a must for this game even if there are a few things that could still use balancing.
The fun here comes form not letting yourself be discouraged by a few character deaths but rather enjoy the games where you kick some serious evil buts. :)

To all out there that like this game but have their issues. It is still in open beta and not finished. Why it takes so long...the developer likes to jump from one project to another and will pick this back up when he feels like it. The next installment is planned for fall or winter. He did not mention what year. ;)
@GarwooD. Any class can be good. A few are better on purpose to give the nerds among us the proper challenge that we need. Just look at my achievements here or at the games home site forums/ STWALT.
Applause to the creator for making something refreshingly new in a non play way.

Good point Ian. The magic point mechanic could be changed. Another thing that's off is with Clerics and their low chance to cast Holy Spells until they are above lvl3. The intent was that this way they can wear any armor but armor negatives are silly when one can simply take it of to cast a healing spell.
Excellent! I was really surprised of the great graphic quality. The idea with the magic swing rings is nice. A bit to easy to get an A+. Perhaps a time limit would be good here. Also it is to easy to simply shoot enemies from a higher position. A slight bit more sword combos and a perry as they do (as mentioned) would make this grand. 5/5
Melee seams broken to me. Game goes black every time I get into melee.
Atmosphere is nice but the gameplay is sort of monotone leaving the replay value on a low level.

TIP for Choppa boarding. POW or Pilot need to board first. They will automatically run to the choppa once it landed.
Huey's did not hang around in hot zones.
The game is suppose to be as realistic as possible.
The game saves on the "device" you played on. There are easy tutorials on the web that explain how to save such files.
I recommend to make a save after every good game to ensure that your profile does not get lost.
This is totally outdated and should be removed from this and all other sites this game is hosted at.

Kill the Tarask? Possible but unlikely. Not even during the testings with lvl 10 characters did anyone manage that so it is still something that open. Paying 100 gold in taxes is the hardest to unlock but possible if, like I had one, the patrol sued me for 100 gold instead of the usual 25.
Very first mission here. Attack-find and retake a firebase. Toughest possible first mission. This will be fun. :)

Something strange going on with the save file. I have to do 3 quests again and a few items are locked again Usually my entire save disappears for unknown reasons but this is new to me.
