You could make a timed version. Change your current "score" to "coins", have them accrue as score now does, and then award a score based on how fast you get to 100 coins. Might make it more replayable, since after playing it the first couple of rounds, it's pretty easy to never "die".

Cacato: To kill the octopus, you need to have higher speed for your men, or they won't reach his tentacles before dying.

I like that it goes faster as the rounds progress, but I think there might be an error: When you lose, the timer is just as fast as where you lost and continues speeding up from there!

So, for those of you having trouble, let me make this easier. The only units you should use are archers, the super-archer, the knight, the tank and repairmen. Any other units just get in the way of the knight. He should be sent out continuously. He never dies; he just destroys.

This game is VERY similar to Warlords: Call to Arms. I like the addition of an economy though. Still seems a little rough around some edges. I didn't notice much difference in the difficulty levels. Once you get the hang of the game, it's all pretty much the same.

Loved the first one. So glad there's a second. There seem to be some bugs in it though. For instance when I try to run [MM: F2 where F2 is ( J, L, J, R, -> F1, L ->) and F1 is F1 (Light, R, -> OrangeF1, ->, L, ->)] on the 4th Expert Level it bugs out and loops in the ->, L, -> portion of F1 even though there is no loop here! When it gets to the end of F1, shouldn't it return to F2 where it left off? My terminology: MM = Main method; J=Jump; L=Left; R = Right; -> walk forward

Yeah I finished hard only losing once (to a turn-2 trojan horse on the level where they start with 40 of each resource). Here's the trick: NO ATTACK CARDS IN YOUR DECK. I built a 75 card deck with the only card using the attack symbol being 5 thieves (awesome card). No recruits, no nothing. Just focus on building and magic. Most of my games were won by starving out the computer. I would sacrifice mages and builders as soon as possible to keep them at 1 of each (ignore attacking cards). Then resource-starve them. As soon as they get near 8 of bricks or magic, either use crush crystals, crush bricks, or thief. My specific deck: 5 thieves; 5 mage; 5 pixies; 5 add weapons; 5 add crystals; 5 add bricks; 5 remove crystals; 5 remove bricks; 5 builders; 5 taverns; 5 fences; 5 large walls; 4 wains; 5 reverses; 3 sacrifice mage; 3 sacrifice builder. GG computer.

The multiplayer is much more fun than the single player. But you might have to wate for someone to join.

Plateboy: Take out their exposed war machine with your corvettes, then make sure you take out their battle ships. After that, the sea becomes almost un-important. Your ground forces should be enough to overwhelm.

Idk opa5000. I completed my wakayama empire in 48 days (including islands). I'll admit though. I was inspired by your post to try my hand at doing it quickly. My strat was to start with skeletons and then as day 15 neared get tons of giants.
