There's a crafting system and magic spells and elemental damage and defense...but it's all pointless when I breezed through the game with nothing but the heal spell and equipping whatever armor I found as I went. I probably didn't even need the spell; I definitely didn't need to craft anything. This was my main complaint about the first game - pointless stats and attributes that you can easily ignore and still beat the game with no effort - and it's shame to see this one be even easier.
