Can we finally have those letter blocks that Izzy_And_Fire originally suggested? I know we have signs, but those developer only text things would fit in with the mood of a lot of the levels people make so well. You'd need to make it preeetty pricy though :)
Lvl25 beaten: First go middle, then top right, then bottom right. The purple duck will try to block one of your straight lines, but there is another way. Usually you can go bottom left.
Cheers
This was my favourite game as a child. It is now tied with Snailiad. This made me think. Bro, you should work with Auriplane! Two of my fave flash games and the creators do a collab... That would be my dream :3
-BOSS RUSH TIPS- Pt.2
Time Cube(Space Box):There is an invincibility zone in the area by the door, but once the metal cubes begin to surround him you can get hit. Stay in the opposite corner to the box; shoot when he reaches your side. Use the C key over Z.
Sun Snail(Moon Snail):His dark waves can be blocked by your own rainbows. His rainbow donuts can be jumped over; these shots will be the main problem, though you'll heal up when you reach the next phase.
Sun GigaSnail(Giga Snail):Bouncing-Keep out of the corners at all times. Don't shoot; focus on dodging, as this phase will do most damage. Snail: This is the phase you can attack in. The rainbow shots are dodged easily; stay on the other side as him, don't go under him and constantly shoot. Shooting: Wait 'til you know which way the shots go, then stay an inch in front of them. To avoid getting hit as he starts to shoot try to stay diagonal from him. Sleeping: Stay in your shell; his shots will go through you.
Hope this helps!
-BOSS RUSH TIPS- Pt.1
Super Shellbreaker(Shellbreaker): Stick to the wall on the right-hand side. The Peashooter shreds its health over all else, use it to ace the battle nice and quick.
Vis Vires(Stompy):The boomerang works quite well for this. Don't worry about the cannons as they won't be a problem almost at all. Stick to the floor and STAY IN BETWEEN THE FEET. I can't stress this enough.
Hope this helps!! :3
In the save point just past the secret border from Mare Carela to the second area(forgot the name of it lol), there's a white pixel.I have no idea why. This is all I have to say. NOM out.
There's so much inspiration taken from other games, and it feels familiar enough for you to enjoy it, but also so original in so many ways. The only objection I can make is, this inspired me to want tomake a game myself, but I have no idea how :( Well, at least I got to experience my dream: Play a game with a snail as the main character :3
10/10 IGN Would Play Again.
How about different portal typings? It irritates me how you go straight through a portal, I'd like it if there were at least a hotkey you had to press to go through.
This wouldn't be compulsory, just a portal setting you get upon getting the portals from the shop itself.
(SPOILERS) To summon Buffdoll, you need to (1) get out a Memorial Tombstone. You'll notice that upon hovering your mouse over it after it is found, it says, 'Rememberin Buffdoll. Light a candle in his honour.' Now, you have to (2) get out what the description of the tombstone suggests: a candlestick. When you activate the candlestick with the tombstone next to it, it says, 'You feel a wind as fair as a whisper... b... u... f... f... Also a keyboard appears out of thin air for no reason.' And finally, step (3) is to repeatedly type buffdoll on your keyboard (it works better for me with capslock on.), and as you do this, a message says 'A chant becomes louder and louder... "buffdoll. Buffdoll. BuFfdoll. BUFFDOLL!' etc. etc. Keep typing buffdoll and a buff looking ragdoll will appear. This is buffdoll from MaD1. Unfortunately, to re-summon him the process must be repeated, but he's basically a stronger, more fun ragdoll. Hope this helps, and that it didn't get spoiled for anyone. :D
