suggestion to improve buying menu in 'quick win' manner: make submenus in tiers, so 'tier1=raw herbs', tier2 is the pots made from that, etc. then the internal order sorts the rest to find it (much more) easily.. all it needs is a small extra vertical bar with the buttons for it, on the left
Decent start for a good game. Some comments: Where can I see my badges?? When I load a saved game, I receive them all again, taking quite a while. I NEED more info screens telling me things like HP of characters on the main screen, stats on a weapon/gear in the equip screen, a clearer highlight in the cast-spells-outside-battle menu, more hotkeys in battles (even if it's just 1-4, let us attack enemy 1-4 at least so I don't need the mouse until I have to cast a spell), possibly ability to equip/upgrade unworn gear in the armory (as I may have multiple sets), and tell me how to unlock the other defence difficulties! :) (and what does 'decline' mean anyway, why not just 'cancel'). So just what I missed to make this game truly professional: it's already really good and interestingly balanced. Apart from not saving the first time (I thought I saved but didn't get the slot 1-3 menu and had to start over) it all ran bug-free and it all looks very nice. Gratz for making this for a first game!
gameplay and balancing not that great, but most awesome graphics and UI ever!! 5/5 for this fantastic concept.. maybe having the terms more related to whats happening so you can learn some.. or optional information on the biochemical part
i gotta say with all the processed feedback i had expect something better.. the beginning of a lvl is tough, the end impossible to lose.. you get far to much money. hard only seems to mean the beginning is harder, and doesnt give anything extra.. no skill points, xp, a different color at lvl completion map might have given a little bit of stimulation to do hard.. especially since it will easily break your perfect bonus and you will have to rely on luck that they take the optimal route. please recalculate in part 2, because apart from balancing the game is awesome.. graphics and gameplay/controls (maybe hotkey for speed change?) are excellent, 4/5
it loads in firefox even after crashing.. brilliant game! good story, i like the graphics, controls could be better but the gameplay is great. fun puzzle fights as well. 5/5
lol amorphous ftw.. can you give us an option to turn screen shake off (when you kill something)? it causes lag. otherwise great game, I hope we are at the beginning of a new genre :)
23515.. wow that took really long.. it started with decent speed but around 20k it got pretty slow, eventually even the music stopped =p died while i tried to light a ciggie.
3/5 for some awkward programming choices, lag and small bugs, but fun game
5/5, fun to aim and dodge, gets a bit random at the last 2 bosses.. nice detail how you can cut of your limbs, including your chain gun arms, and then grow them back grabbing a hearth.. however doing that you get stretched out elastically for a sec and its pretty lame to hit a bullet that way and die.. its just details though, had good fun working my way to the hard badge
omg lol i thought i FINALLY finished it but i was still on easy mode when i pressed continue :( now knowing how long the game is i rly can't make myself finish normal mode too....
ok game, too bad i realised to late how much better the other characters are.. a red guy on a dark red background.. finished it all like that (no lvls skipped) :P anyway pretty nice game once you get used to the controls - 4/5
