Okay... its an interesting game, and I might play more of it. But I'm getting tired of the ad that pops up when you die. You see, I click a split second after I die, and it automatically opens up another window to "More Fun Games!". This got annoying really fast. Either keep these ads only at the main menu, off to the side of the screen so they won't be easily clicked (instead of right in the middle), or allow for the death to register before you have the ad pop up. 3/5
So Twin Rivers Iron Challenge, I tried maxing the meteor spell to give me the "rains additional meteors... all over the battlefield" as the iron challenge gives A LOT of small fodder to kill without the man power to stop them all. But when I used the spell, it stayed local. There was no additional meteors. Tried again with no gain on the spell. Guess I have to try a different strategy...
This is a nice stress reliever. Where else can you beat a pinata to a pulp with a mace and it still comes back for more. I did find one bug however, if you get a hand cramp and exit out of the game. If you do a new game or continue, the image for the hand cramp remains. Had to reload the game to remove the image.
Level 7 final barrier to get to the exit door wouldn't disappear... I ran the other way and it finally did disappear. How to Play would benefit if the wagging finger guys could be described.
Level 8 boss... "chemistry" was spelled incorrectly. Unless it was replaced by another language... either way, a bug. It would also be nice to be able to fire straight up without having to jump. Seems like there is a way to fire straight up... maybe I'm pressing the keys in the wrong order.
Level 12 boss... can't seem to hit whoever I need to hit... is it the girl on the boys back? Is there some kind of trick that I need to do? I tried jumping and throwing the books into their faces but no damage occurred.
Sorry for the multiple posts... I'm limited to 1000 characters. Fix the bugs and you could have something decent here.
level 4 boss... kept getting hit by something invisible. I jumped to avoid the apples and the falling burgers, but I still got hit.
Level 5, there are two lollipops that I can't get to right near the very beginning. Figured that I could use the bouncing platform to get me up to the wall right next to them... but I fell through the floor. Plus I couldn't climb down the ladders, climbing up wasn't a problem.
Level 6, after dying from the basketballs "hitting" me (collision box seems quite... large), came back alive to see two basketballs still rendered in the game. So I wanted to see if they would still hurt me. And they did. After dying again after getting hurt from the two basketballs, I saw three basketballs there. Would hate to imagine what would happen if I kept dying.
While I might have given this a 4/5 because it was a decent game... I have to take off two points (2/5) just due to the shear number of bugs that I was able to find (and there are probably more). Here is my list:
There is no reset of data.
Going to options page, when clicking on "Press Here to Change" and left clicking on "Jump" again, the text goes berserk.
How to Play has nothing on the Lollipops, or the notebooks.
Seeing that I can't reset the game... I believe that you start out with one life at the very beginning of the game. (After dying once, I saw a continue screen).
Bug list continues
Yeah... not really liking the flipping of the screen either. Plus, if you get multiple flip powerdowns in a row the game crashes. I'm in the Mushroom kingdom and probably got about 5 flips in a row. Now the game is stuck. Would have given it a 4/5 if it wasn't for the flips and crash. 3/5
Interesting game... especially in two days. The collision between hero and peds needs some work. I try to push them down and they go sideways. I try to push 2+ peds and one moves. Plus even when you die, the game continues to send buses to run over peds. Interesting concept, just needs some work on the collisions. 3/5
Its a nice change for the snake game. However, when playing level 4, my opponent was being knocked out more than I was and was still winning. Tried changing it up by knocking myself out, with the same result, the opponent won. Might have given a 4/5... but with the bugs, 2/5.
Sorry, it is not clear at the beginning. The one with higher score wins. KOing your opponent gives you additional score, but it does not guarantee you will win.
Yeah... I can see where people are saying that this version has quite a few bugs to it. Saying watch out for sharks when the only thing that appears is an alligator. No sounds of when a boat is nearby, which would help out if we need to take care of divers AND boats. And then there is the kill the alligator mission. I succeed in killing the alligator, as I received the announcement. However, when I swim past the "dead" alligator, it still eats my lead fish. Now I can't seem to see anymore missions after continuing. The first "Feed Us" was pretty good, but it looks like you did too much of a rush job or was just plain lazy for this second installment. Good luck in correcting the bugs.
So I built 3 cannons with the bottom most missing, and when I went to build the fourth cannon, it didn't appear and the money disappeared. So I only had 3 cannons with zero money after two rounds of trying to buy the fourth cannon.
The other problem that I had was that even though I was aiming at the right location for the cannon balls to hit the enemy, no hits were registered. So fix those two bugs and I might give it a better rating. 3/5
The problem that I have with the game is that there is little room for error when it comes to your shots. The UFO's that drop the bombs are difficult to destroy and the bombs are hard to hit. I could handle the other UFO's but the bomb dropping UFO's were taking out 2+ citizens. My suggests are, have a larger shot area (like a shotgun effect) so hitting the bombs are easier, make the shot area upgradeable if needed, reduce the hit points for the bomb UFO's, that way they are easier to kill, or make the bombs larger, so they aren't difficult to hit. 4/5
So when I tried moving one of the defenders to another row, I clicked prior to the arrow showing up for the placement and the defending "vegetable" disappeared. It wasn't there to defend, and I couldn't get it back to replace. Pretty bad bug. 3/5
Like the plant vs. zombies style of the game. I guess I need to add to the complaints about the resource collection. Got to level 9 and the amount of nightmares got too much at the very beginning of the stage. Maybe my strategy wasn't good enough, but couldn't get enough fantasy to counter the nightmares. Maybe you can put in upgrades for the kid? Like speed reading (for faster flipping of the books), or long arms and/or magnets (for coin collection)? Keyboard shortcuts for toy selection might also work. 4/5
Couple of issues. First, there isn't a pause button, would be nice if I could walk away from the game if needed. Second issue was that I figured that I could walk away if I "Exited" the level. However, if you wait afterwards, the time limit from the original level will continue to count down till the main menu is interrupted by the "Time ran out" screen. Other than that, good game. 4/5
I got to level 30, and was wondering how many more there were, so I went back to the main menu and then to start game. That's when I noticed that 13-15, 19, 20, 21, and 25-27 were all missing the last digit. So, it was 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2 on the level select screen. So other than that small bug, it was a pretty good game. 4/5
Some fixes that you'll need to do. First the use of "/" instead of the ":" that you used for division. Second, the font of the numbers does make it tough to read what numbers are being referenced. Last is the word "kindergarten" is misspelled, which makes the statement that much more interesting.
I would recommend a speed adjuster so it could be used for little kids and/or more confident mathematicians. That way the "monsters" can go as fast or as slow as the player would like. (And I wonder if this works with a ten-key...unable to test.)
Didn't like the commentary at the end. There is no competition against an AI, so its just you guessing where the ships are. And using another (better, imo) games picture to promote your game isn't right imo. Fixing the bugs and these issues might go towards a better rating. 2/5
Better than Impossible Ninja 1, but not by much. Lives = Health, so if there was some way to refill the health then I would like the change more. New weapons were good. Collision area around the character however seemed larger, was getting hit from objects that still had a gap in between.
Changing of the floor background per level might be good, I liked the ninja's fading into the background in #1. Time limit for specials is effective, but I would like to see more ammunition than time limit. Just my two cents.
My only issue with the game, is that the notes don't always show on normal rounds. So its hard to judge when there is a break or if there will be additional notes coming through the speakers. Unless some of the rounds are for Hard? Pretty cool game overall. 4/5
Sorry, it is not clear at the beginning. The one with higher score wins. KOing your opponent gives you additional score, but it does not guarantee you will win.
