So, I sorta automatically switched back to WASD and noticed that if you press S instead of space to start a song, it plays that song a bit Slow, and if you press D, it plays it Double tempo. Any other secret hotkeys like this?
I'm honestly disappointed. The interface is great, the boss mechanic is humorous, and I love the achievements. The voices and animations add little, but you can at least turn them off. All that's fine.
What absolutely KILLS this game for me is that it's lacking the one thing that made SCGMDX3 really stand out in my opinion: constant synchronization. I've had the game get "behind" the music to the point where I have to deliberately strike notes a little late to get them to count. That's not cool. I just got the last perfect on SCGMDX3 yesterday so I don't think this can be attributed to me having a bad sense of rhythm either.
are you still planning on making a new version? Maybe not with points but make a game with other songs done this way... the fans have come up with several, check the responses on youtube.
uh, I don't have admin privilages on this machine... so I can't change my system time. Not sure if that's what you have to do, but I can't think of anything else... Is there a way win without changing the system time?
Oh hell no. It was "pin?" Not "arrow" or "spike" or "claw" or "rock" or any of the other dozen words I tried before looking for a walkthrough? I even had the right idea, but without a word list, I just assumed that it wasn't working because it wasn't the intended solution. Ouch.
Okay so I'm on the level where I need to pop the balloon. Well that's easy, there's a space right here big enough to type "arrow." Huh, that didn't work. Maybe "gun?" huh, it showed up as "gnu" I guess it's lag. Gun doesn't work, nor does "bow" nor does "spike" or "rocket" or "stairs..." I could be here a while.
I understand that making a vocabulary as big as scribblenauts has is no small undertaking, but could you maybe give us a list of words we can use so we don't get stuck trying to use a solution that the game won't recognise? Like "blow the balloon to the right place then shoot something to pop it." That doesn't seem to work at all.
This gives me an idea! Someone should organize the lyrics to other fast-paced repetitive songs and make a sort of Rhythm Competition thing. I love rhythm games and I have to say this is a winning concept.
Level editor would be nice... I beat EVERY SINGLE LEVEL!!!
Proof/spoiler (in ROT13 for those who want to know what it says) That only makes sense when you beat the game:
V tbg gur Syhk Pncnpvgbe naq V pna abj purng ng tnzoyvat.
nope ;)
