Control sucks. Would be far better to just drag instead of select then drag. I always ordered the wrong pixels, because I tried to drag one which wasn't selected. Or just allow to give orders while paused.
"I can't see anything." what about switching on infrared sight or simply walk until you run into a wall? ;) - Well, too much clicking, too few logic. Nice gfx, nice story - different from the usual.
Well. The first game of the series was great. But this has got a lot of bugs: I lost my H+K somewhere and had to finish a lot of levels using the shotgun. My "friend" got stuck a lot of times. Currently she doesn't finish her work while I am defending. So there is no way of finishing this level.
And for those complaining about not jumping: it's because you were running and lifted slightly from ground before you tried to jump. He won't jump if not standing on the ground.
1/5 because the game is about using element effects but there is no hint at all which element creatures you are attacking and what weaknesses they have. I don't want to memorize a hidden rule-set.
Game sucks. There is no explanation of the interface but you get bombarded with dozends of changes and messages within a few seconds without any idea what they mean.
Would be a great game because of athmosphere and gfx, but first rule of adventure games wasn't followed: avoid endless searching for hidden clicks (building a bomb for example), instead go for riddles - eg. combinations of items - that make sense (like the clocks) but aren't too obvious (have arguments against the postmaster) .
This games makes you click around like an idiot, because no orientation is possible. You don't know where you are. You have to guess if you turn, move forward or backwards. The interior graphics looks nice, but very often it's totally unclear what it is you are clicking on. So please add at least some arrows for movement or highlight clickable items/areas. The way it is now the game is 95% dumb clicking and 5% thinking.
Great story, but the interface sucks. double jump very often doesn't work - just died in the acid because of this, Shooting only left or right - well this is a decsion which makes it similar to really old games like silk worm. It's ok, but there somehow is a feeling of inflexibility, stiffness?, like for example those indiana jones 3d games compared to lara croft, who was moving really smoothly.
Unplayable slow on my computer. Athlon X2 4400. There are only very few games on Kong that are slow like this. Using low settings does not change anything.
Could be a nice game. But fights are boring. Would be nice if you could apply a strategy using your skills. But it's just clicking anything. Maybe a turn-based fight would be more interesting?
Your skills get worse with upgrading: they use far more mana, cooldown increases, Blood List sacrifices a significant amount of your health for a low increase in damage. So why should I upgrade at all? Did not find a blacksmith yet, to upgrade my armor. Do I have to play forever?
Not everything is bad though: I like the equipment and the dungeon. And please add a "take all" button and categories to the shop view!
