Heavy Weapons is decent in terms of difficulty and length, but where it falls short is in the extras. Once the final boss is beaten, the reward is the levels become freely accessible for replay. No new weapons, no challenge levels, nothing but the levels you've already played.
Also the bosses are simple once you know to exploit the invincibility when you spawn in. All one needs to do is fly into them (abusing the invincibility) and spam both Short Shield and Lightning.
I really wanted to like this game. The platforming was solid, the feel of the game was fine, the music was relaxing, but the challenges were not worth the effort. It's not a bad game by any means, but the challenges were an effort in frustration and failure for me. Maybe if I was 10 years younger and had the reflexes of a 5 year old I could do it.
This game is a disappointment. Not only are the combos impossible to pull off, but the AI can pull off their combos at a moments notice with no warning or even a charge up time in most cases. Lowest Score.
Personally, this is quite an interesting teaching medium. Considering that the US Public School system doesn't have Geography courses anymore.
As a Game, it's spot on. Great Ambiance, Simple Game Play, and Brain busting throughout.
(Kind of reminds me of "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?")
This game was quite unique. The little quips of Philosophy in the bar-codes were a nice gameplay touch. Wish this game was longer though. 5/5

Talk about buggy in places. Level 24 is a good example, I was able to buck the system by placing the brick IN in one of the solid objects due to its shape.
Otherwise it's a decent game, but doesn't deserve more then a 3 out of 5.
