bad game. really. the christina ending SUCKS. there's no SURPRISE in hiding something without giving any previous clue about it and then suddenly wanting to make the spectator look like a retard. but that wasn't enough, u HAD TO MAKE HER DISSAPEAR, like the visitor would look even MORE retarded.
the general idea was a 3, graphics were a 2, controls a 1, the way the decisions were taken was way too easy, i give it a 2, but really, the story, i give this a -5. i'm an awarded writer btw.
another great piece of art by nerdook. u know, 1st time i tried it, i managed to push hard enough to get to the beast with my 1st army, didnt even die once. 2nd time, THEY HAD ALL MONSTERS IN THE 4TH BATTLE OF THE FIRST HORSEBOY. i got kicked so BAD i felt i was actually bad at the game. REALLY BAD. was that my fault? :(
YES. BEN OLDING AGAIN. YES. BEST FLASH GAMES' DEVELOPER EVER. iron fist was already the best fighting game i've ever played before, anyone who saw martial arts films HAD TO LOVE IT. and now this... instant 5/5, glad to play this, and i BEG FOR MORE.
frustrating game. upgrades are useless, 2nd lvl is impossible if you want to powershoot, the ai is really dumb. the graphics and the idea are good, but the way it was developed is not. 3/5
see, THIS is a good game. to all those dumb devs saying i'm just randomly angry because they don't like what i tell them about their games, LEARN from this one. needs a few things but it kept me entertained for some time, and i still want to keep playing. reminds me of the feeling that monster slayers still produces in me.
game gets boring after a while. i'm earning tons of gold but i have nothing interesting to spend it on, i'm just buying explosives and blowing up the whole thing for no reason.
u know, last game i didnt enjoy, this one was fun but not as nearly as excellent as ur old incredible ones. i think u're doing great stuff that's really fun but it's not a game to play for longer than an hour or so. the stuff u did with upgradeable characters and classes and items was amazing, hope to see more of that sooner rather than later!
my suggestion: some rpg stuff, lots of explosions and customization!!!
puzzles were fun. text was too much of 'i want to make a game look like a story so i write a lot of stuff and make it look complicated so others believe its complicated and therefore good and worthy of being looked as something related to the process or writing too and not just gaming'. that sucked. good metaphorical/philosophycal games don't need a bunch of crappy text to mean something deep. if u have a good story, things actually happening, u don't need to confuse the spectator -gamer in this case- with a bunch of nonsense so they feel related to the main character which was just slightly confused. in any case, i got bigger issues than being bothered by some dude and i don't go around bothering others and getting them into rooms inside my mind full of lazor and stuff... u didn't even justify that. 3/5
felt really good at the start. then it wanted to charge me for feeding my monsters. then i realized leveling up was EXTREMELY SLOW. then i realized my toon moved EVEN SLOWER. soon i realized this game was meant to absorb people into a repetitive world full of demanding creatures that only evolve if you pay them. i quit the game :D
started the game. went into a fight. a bunch of weirdos surrounded me. i didnt even know who i was. i didnt understand what the winged eye following me was. i didnt understand anything. i just understood it felt like playing some strange Final fantasy remake. maybe a good try but.... think of the gamer before making a game, it's not just about wanting to follow a blueprint and getting good graphics, which btw i believe are the only reason the game was, in the end, tolerable.
Getting the graphics, lol, I spent four months painting every frame, coding every step, and learning the entire time. Don't be so bitter. Think of the creator sometime too. We're not all big studios, some of us are just guys by ourselves trying things out and trying to have fun while we're doing it. I had fun making it, and expecting games to not be similar to other games it absurd. Every piece of art is inspired from something. EVERY PIECE. Stay cool, don't be so cranky. ^_^
