There is a small bug with the micromanagement feature. Occasionally you have to close and open the browser in order to "rehire" the company that got overstressed.
I have been getting reports from a lot of FireFox users about the game not loading. However, being a huge fan of AdVenture Capitalist myself, I know they run on Unity not Adobe Flash. I highly doubt the problem would be linked. You should check to make sure the browser you are using is up to date.
