It was pretty fun watching three back row ranger use their Hail of Arrows with the 30% to attack added bonus from the front line rogue. Only attempt this on Easy mode, however. Poor rogue.
When I am at work I think of party strategies. That's a testament to this game's playability. This time around I thought of going either cleric/cleric/mage/mage (my old Ultima Exodus party configuration) where clerics only heal and anoint mages....or....cleric/rogue/ranger/ranger where the rangers replace the mages aoe and the rogue boosts their To Hit. Again the cleric would anoint one and heal. However, this second way would leave only one armored cleric in the front instead of two like the previous config. Going with the first idea then.
The three conjurers on Extreme mode took out a level boss mob and a legendary (albeit the easy hydra). Pretty fun little arsinal the conjurers have. Once I get their quickness up there, I'll do even better sprouting up wargolems for defense first, then casting that shield spell to all. I've only had to res one conjurer so far with the conj's res spell. I even took the vortex spell...fun to push back the melee guys and bring forward the spellcasters.
Doomed heroes badge. Used two frontline warriors (approx 70% armor), ranger (maxed on intelligence and insight items combo with Natures Balm, gave +49 health per turn per buffed dude), conjurer (wargolem and bloodsprite...only had to use the healing power of bloodsprite once). Wargolem ftw!
Staypuff, this is exciting news. Then the rangers uber attack where he shoots each enemy twice for 50% damage ...each of those "shots" would have full leathality %, poison %, ....where as the mages lightening storm would not..it's total poison amount of, lets say 6 to poison, would be divided by the amount of enemies, lets say six orcs, thus each orc would have 1 poison damage....the ranger almost seems superior when equiped with the right poinson orbs, venom blades, and lethality gear! niiiiiice Oh, and poison does stack from the same characters attack. Same for the enemy...your poison damage you take from a poison drake stacks even from the same poison drake. Visa Versa. which is good for us in general, bad for them.
XilverSnake, no prob man. :-)
With a cool name like yours I expect you to be a level 10 kongregate gamer by the end of next week. HINT: rate games to get one point closer to the next level.
Question. With the warriors special Three Attack mode when it is quicker...do each of those attacks have a chance to activate the passive Leadership skill? Also, if I had a poison weapon would the poison stack for each of those attacks? That would rock.
There is an example...the enemy has a creature called Champion. Its an orc I believe. He uses shield and the text says he is protecting all allies. When you come accross him and he uses that skill, try doing a mele attack from the back row. But I bet you wont have a character in the back row with a melee weapon. You would have to reorganize your melee fighters to at least one of them in the back row to try this. At least I know that ALL front row melee guys can attack that one Champion goblin when it uses protrection. So my theory would be that a melee guy in the back COULD attack him via melee.
Is there a cap on how much power you can regen from one item? i.e. a level 10 runed item gives +4 power regen....so at level 100 would it give +40? That would seem unbalanced.
