Sick game, 5/5. Protectomons are a really cool idea, love how you can hire heroes although I think that maybe gold could be used for more stuff like training.
ManOfWaur, the Protectomons add +1 base damage to the unit they represent.
Everyone, THERE IS NO WAY TO SELL UNITS! That's part of the strategy (especially on the harder levels), to find an element that doesn't just give HP back to absorbing enemies.
Very nice controls, and love the achievement (nice 40k reference, inquisitor!) However, I would suggest putting groups of basic enemies (upgraded with more HP and attack) or single uber enemies at occassional intervals, rather than having constant fighting. This adds more of a creepy, "anything can happen suddenly" kind of feeling, not having your brain numbed by mindlessly mashing your spacebar down to get past hordes of cannon fodder. The plot I love, for some reason (to everyone who says it's a ripoff of dead space; dead space was good!) 4/5, mainly because the feel of the combat clashed with all the (extremely scary) cutscenes and dreams.
Has anyone else noticed that you can drive tanks? I love taking the T-35 for a spin, but an APC is a better alternative against infantry, and is pretty fast. Keep up the good work, this is an all-round incredible game.
This is so cool! These are my fav online strategy games, this one is especially good though. One problem is, battles seem to take forever so i never finish them... :|
knife being instant kill would be stupid, since then whats the point of katanas and scythes? Also, needs different AI modes for snipers, machinegunners, assault troopers, guards, etc.
to get medium badge use practice, with first only glooples. wait for them to combine into an oozle. then have only biters, theyll combine into a horror. then have oozles and glooples, eventually they'll combine into a void thingy.
