Yes the game does give away the correct square when you are doing trial and error, but imo it doesnt really matter because if the player wish for the challenge, he/she will not go out of the way to abuse it. I know it is inevitable for the harder puzzle to go w/o trial and error, but honestly I know I be raging hard at the later stages when there are so many 1s in a 15x15 grind w/o the game giving away free hints. Especially so when this isnt on a piece of paper and a mistake means complete redo.
Like ImaLeadFarmer and many others, we are having issue with talent priority. From what I observed, the order goes like this. First talent tree top down, second talent tree top down and last talent tree top down. I only have mage and warlock, so I cant speak for other class. The big question is "Is the order done on purposed?" Warlock's death coil/howl of terror and mage's nova should be top priority, yet they are placed last. Warlock's lifedrain shouldn't be the first talent to trigger after a rest, yet it is place on the first talent tree.
Possible for an extra setting where you can set if creep hp less then x value, none of the talent shown beside your attack icon will be use to finish off the creep?
i follow the trick to destroy room when customers are inside to get hipster. For some unknown reason, my game just freeze up. If it helps, what I did at that moment was destroy, rebuild on same spot and game freezes after that.
How does soul link interact with aoe skills? Does it consider every target as main target and therefore does an additional 15% per point to all 3 enemies assuming a pull of 3? Also it says 5% per point of dmg done to all targets. Does this mean even if you have only one target, soul link will still do additional dmg?
The target in the first slot is the main target. AOE dmg to the first target will trigger soul link and hit the others 50% harder. Soul link does not increase any damage if you only have 1 target.
Testing all 7 classes at once, tho started paladin day or so earlier:P So far, priest / mage are having horrible performance kill/death ratio, reached level, collected resources, tho Priest is , after lvl 30 quite improving, same with warrior, mage stays horrible and worst class so far, proly will change when i can group-farm. Rogue i forgot to level so only lvl 33, paladin 41, rest on 32 lvl :D Will keep posting progress.

FYI, grinding multiple chars at once is not supported by the save system, so do it at your own risk, your saves may be corrupted.
Thanx for quick reply. Let me use fireblast as a base example. An additional point invest here equate to 10% intellect/10sec giving 1%intellect dmg/s. We also know a single point in power is (total %intellect dmg/s)*0.02. Therefore your combine offensive spell need to reach 50% intellect dmg/s for a point invest in power to be equivalent to a point in fireblast.
Not saying it isnt possible to attain, but the build needed to ensure a point in power is worth it is very awkward, making POWER useless unless you go out of the way to ensure the point invested here outdps the basic fireblast.
Mage fire talent POWER is a disappointment. Initially when I read I thought that it increase all talent dmg by 2% intellect per point. After having finally tech to it, I realise it is a 2% of your talent dmg output. Is it even worth it to spend 10 points in talent power? 20% of a max pyroblast net you a 70% intellect spell. First 3 fire talent when max is way over 100%, where the skills point is better spent.
Each point in power increases the value of every other point spent on a damaging spell by 2%. If you have < 50 points spent in damaging spells, 1 pt in power is worth less than it would be somewhere else(< 100% of a point). If you have > 50 points spent in damaging spells, 1 pt in power is worth more than it would be somewhere else. That is how the talent should be evaluated.
(You can ignore the following and just destroy and replace)WHAT YOU SHOULD DO WHEN BLOCK TURN TO CHEESE
1)Since top most is eye block, it is meant to be destroy and replace with another eye. Do not be stingy on this block. Always destroy it to allow for replacement of blocks below.2)Replace perfume block with another perfume right away when it turn to cheese(yes destroy the eye too and replace it also)3)You can choose to either destroy top 2 block and have this replace or just ignore it until top 2 are cheesed and replace all 3 together.4)Same as above. Do not replace unless top 3 block are cheesed already. Grabber is only to deal with the few gas demon when they are around so you should be fine as long as you keep your eye on those gas demon and go after them.5)Do not replace unless block above are cheesed. Have the replacement perfume just right beside. Also, the "replacement" stack should only be 2 block high(meaning one worm one perfume) so your 3rd block on original stack can fire.
With the stack done, you just have to accumulate soul to increase your damage and I believe you people have guess it by now, your character job is to follow the boss and kill the boss before it even reaches your flame block and turn any of it to cheese(none of the boss got to top of my flame stack). As for the only boss that require eye block, just place one right ahead so you can continue to hit it when it is out of range of your eye block at the top of your left stack.
Once you have 3flame 1perfume set up, start the wave and accumulate as much soul as possible(you should have all 25gold and buy all the skills from the shop) so your character has a decent dmg.
The next thing to do will be to identify the slightly more dangerous foe. Mainly the gas demon for my set up since they are the only ones to be able to move through the formation of 2x 5stack of block rapidly. When gas demon start appearing, put one grabber on top of your perfume(remember to stack 5 flame block at the end when you have enough soul)
After this, a worm on top of grabber for good damage since there are bound to be lots of demon(mainly due to splitter/horned/rhino)
Add another perfume on top of worm to buy time for your flame block to do their job. Lastly, the purpose of eye block is not really for detection, but as a cheap block(I did not bring in wood block because one of the boss require eye block to make it appear) to be place on top of your perfume to complete your stack.
For those having trouble getting pass survival, here is an easy way to beat it. The trick is flame/perfume. Blocks to bring in for this stage will be flame/perfume/grabber/eye/worm.
Start out with 3 flame at the end(just beside the toy) facing the direction left(obviously) and 1 perfume at left most(beside the portal) facing right. The important thing is not to build any block in between because block cannot fire through blocks.(If I am not clear, what I mean is having 2 stack of 5 at both extreme end and only that)
Do not bother with the ghost that need the eye block. As long as you have 5 flame block, no ghost will make it through with the toy.
The target in the first slot is the main target. AOE dmg to the first target will trigger soul link and hit the others 50% harder. Soul link does not increase any damage if you only have 1 target.
