I definitely see what some people are saying. The later part of the game is completely different from the beginning part of the game - it starts out quite a good puzzle game, then the later half of the game is not really a puzzle game but more a tight timing platformer. Really should have stuck with the puzzle theme rather than the constant air jumping timing stuff.
One of the worst RNG achievements here. The game itself is pretty decent but the laser moves WAY too fast so it turns it into a question of whether you get patterns that let you maintain enough speed to stay ahead of the laser. Really poor achievement on an otherwise decent game.
Not a bad game but too grindy for BOTD. You have to play multiple times and get several upgrades before you can realistically get it. You basically HAVE to get level 3 at an absolute minimum (which doesn't take very long), but realistically need level 9 for the improved glide to have a good chance to get 10k (which takes a LOT longer).
Great presentation, execution is a terrible grindy mess unless you shamelessly exploit the 2 Crystal Craft to turboboost gear. Game is about 5x longer than it should be.
Decent game but IDIOTIC final achievement. Putting such a harsh time limit on it turns it from a puzzle game into a question of whether you memorized the patterns and can recognize it fast enough, because there is simply not time to actually think about them. So no thinking, no skill, just pure pattern recognition. It SHOULD have been get X amount correct in a row without a time limit, and missing one resets it to 0.
Achievements are ludicrously unbalanced for how the game is set up. Pump everything into coin bonus and magnet and you get FAR more money per launch than anything else, especially. I was getting about $100-150k for distance/height and over $1 million from coins per launch. This means that you max out the entire grid while still requiring HUNDREDS more mine/balloon/spring impacts. Very poor balancing.
Lets see - pixel hunt for non-obvious items you can pick up that don't actually add value to the game because you use them in VERY obvious place, clues to first puzzle don't make much sense especially since the way its set up makes you think you're figuring out number values for R, B, G, once you solve that the rest of the game takes literally 30 seconds to complete, and game VERY OBVIOUSLY released unfinished because of the other 2 locked drawers that you never open. Very bad, especially compared to most of the rest of the games by this publisher.
Terrible grindy MESS. Even if they had kept the coin drops 'normal' after each level then it would still be WAY too grindy - drastically reducing the amount of money WHILE demanding that you replay levels dozens of times to get money is just terrible game design.
Easy badge was pretty easy. Hard badge is just STUPID. It literally may as well read, 'Play the game with a Scrabble word finder open in a 2nd window'.
Wait I'm confused - right at the start they claim he took down Zombino, but when did that happen? Last episode he was being framed by the other zombie. I mean sure he found a warehouse of stuff but are we really saying Zombino, the primary antagonist of the last couple episodes, got arrested OFF SCREEN?
He didn't get arrested! As Margh himself says, he's still at large. After last episode, the police had proof enough to try to arrest him, but he got away ;)
Those of you saying you're stuck on the last screen with the body but can't blow up the door and can only confirm your conclusion - you open the door by using the gun on it.
Ugh, coming back to this here for the daily reminded me of how an amazing premise can't save a terrible game. The idea of different weapons, deciding how high quality weapons you wanted for each stage and matching components to get the ideal weapon is a great idea. The crafting is a great idea - the FIRST few times. Then you realize that the rest of the game is just crafting the same weapons over and over and over and over and OVER again, multiple times EVERY SINGLE STAGE. If you're even a quarter way decent you can beat every single stage first time with zero difficulty, which just reduces beating the game to one of the most boring grindfests ever created. Seriously, the game would be 100 times better if after getting a full triple 100% weapon you could automatically create the same weapon without having to go through the craft for the 100th time.
