Might want to consider hero order in the future. It would have been useful to be able to see the heroes placed in the same order as the colors are. Otherwise, enjoyable take on puzzle RPGs. Oh does the world ever need a lot more of them.
Having problems with the last two areas? Simply keep reloading Greenhorn hills. This level starts with all cards face up, and allows you to see any drivers on the field. If you see none, restart. Aim to get as many drivers as you can, and it will make the last few levels a lot more manageable.
Easily one of the greatest flash games to date. Outstanding graphics, and atmosphere. The gameplay is almost perfect in every way. The puzzles scale appropriately, being clever, but not brainbusting. The speed of it, is jut right to allow for accuracy without being super slow. Good job Betz, for making such an incredible game.
What started out as a solid game, with an old school RPG feel, soon became an exercise in tedium. If you have an RPG in which your health and mana refill after each battle, every single story battle, must increase in difficulty, or change enough to make it different, or you are going to get bored fast. There's no need for the training battles, as all the battles between the bosses are training battles.
Only big flaw, is that it needs a much etter search feature. I often type the name of one song, and get it from a different band. Or, a different version of the song, if I type the name of the band as well.
An absolutely amazing example of good game design. All of the obstacles were laid out in an easy to understand manner, and the difficulty curve was wonderful. I had my doubts about Unity for some time, and this dispelled them rather swiftly. Can't wait to see the full game.
Oddly rhythmic. It's interesting for a single play, but there is nothing giving it more durability. And every time you lose, it goes back to playing the original sounds. 3/5 for an idea, but it doesn't have anything to sustain you.
Here's the strategy you've all been waiting for. Get to level 10 summons, unlock the healer, turtle golem, and stun upgrades, and start leveling HP, Mana, and rainbow (Rainbow, you should save up for early) Then summon in order, Turle/Goblin/Golem/Healer/Goblin/Goblin/Goblin/Goblin/Goblin/Healer/Goblin/Goblin. Use stuns to hit any important towers, like the bog tower. Works on every level, for 50+raids.
Under rating threshold. Add a horrendous Physics set, with a god awful control scheme, throw in enough matches to be completely jaded to the game, you get every Ben Olding game ever. There, I said my piece. (Back to badge hunting.)
This is a pretty nice addition to the physics cannon genre. The design is nice, the levels have good flow to them, and the last shot feature is a great addition. It is a shame this doesn't have the API.
This game really spoke to my heart. I remember my first date. All the people I had to squash, the stalking, dealing will all 35 of my parents, doing inane tasks for my boss to get a promotion to the top ranks within a day. All to take her to a small town family restaurant and drop 2k on dinner. You really brought me back. Thank you Pseudolonewolf.
Biggest and Smallest hint (But highly important) You can enter the prison from the front by clicking on the far left side of the prison outside. It took me FOREVER to figure this out. Just think of all the possibilities that opens!
This game is an impressive display of good game design. It introduces new mechanics, at a decent speed, allows those mechanics to come into play in the later levels as well, and the levels are short, sweet, and death is a small obstacle. It was thoroughly enjoyable. 5/5
Got the impossible badge! How? Hooked up a guitar hero controller, used joy2Key to set it up, the, went into my display settings, changed the display to protrait, that way the bar goes up and down, instead of side to side. After that, ROCK OUT. Also, cry a little. This only makes it more adaptable, not easier....
