Just set up a couple fully upgraded, non comboed tazers right at the beginning, and then further away a Nuke combo (Red fires first, +blue +blue) so that when the wave of monsters are clustered by the tazers they get the shit nuked out of them. ;) This is especially helpful for the later levels.

If you put double bullets on the rosemary, the clip size is zero, that is just epic
