It'd be nice to have a littlle message that says "Your game have been saved." I kept worrying that it didn't save properly, but I eventually realized that there probably wasn't a message coded.
It'd be pretty nice if the HP meter showed me my HP as current/max or with a bar or something, because I don't know if 100 HP is max because of the slow health regeneration coupled with the HP increase via leveling up.
To be fair, this game is much more well done and refined than its predecessors, but I do miss the old style: on foot, with nothing but your rifle as your friend. I really hope you'll do another like that for Endless War 6.
slight error: With a female zombie, it will still say "I believe that fire and sparks will connect deeply with this specimen based on HIS reactions so far.
It's moments like when you find two zombies that look so similar to each other that they have to be related in a bedroom with nothing but underwear on that make this game just.. weird.
The ONE problem with this game is the camera angle (and the fact that you're the same color as the backgrounds and enemies... okay, maybe there's two problems): It makes it hard to know where exactly you can can walk bhind (or under?) buildings because of the odd perspective which I think it top-down, except the buildings seem to be more... well, a 3/4 view.
I loved the fact that the storyline branche aren't simply based on whether you pass or fail the minigames, and how attempting but not succeeding will often net a different result than completely failing.
The only problem I can see with this game is that little mini-game you have to do every time you attack. It should REALLY be reserved for like when you score a critical or something, because it goes by way too fast for me to ever get more than 4-5 damage so far.
I really wish there was an option to turn off autofire. I know it Is easier, and there's really no point to holding your fire since you don't run out of ammo or anything, but it just feels awkward to me without having control over when I shoot.
I love this game. It's a nice take on the multiple-character platformer, since there's only one tool but both characters have different uses for it. I love the tortoise. The only thing is that his walk cycle is a bit awkward-looking because of the way his legs bend. The background can also get kind of blinding. Some different looking levels would be good, especially since the penguin kind of blends in. Other than that, awesome game.
I have an automatic shotgun that fires a dozen pellets with every shot that fires at over a thousand rounds a minute, plus i can withstand multiple zombie bites and run at superhuman speeds. And on top of all that, I never ever need to reload.
This will be in the next update
