alex: It's entirely possible, but I rather implement less complex things first (Like 30 or so items I have in my todo list). That will prepare the game for stuff like player control without too much hacking and slashing =p
Also, I already fixed the flickering red. Lava/Water is proving difficult, as I have to manage the temperature of individual pixels to cool down the lava realistically.
littlebubba8: Yup, that's the cause. Still, it is a bug (Like the flickering red reported by Roland). I'll fix it in a few hours. There are some things about the temperature system that I don't like :S
TNT: Cool ecosystem! Happyman: I rather not copy other games. I have enough complains as it is :P Also, until this version it was all local interactions. I have a temperature field half way done for this new update :) tyleriscool: If you explain yourself better, you may get what you want. Do an effort, yeah?
Wind is proving to be difficult to optimize. Maybe I'll work in my todo list, which includes a lot of the stuff you people have requested and THEN I'll try and keep working in the wind. Pressure is done, though (Although it doesn't do a thing :P)
My dev annotations for tomorrow's update: Ants is an awesome idea
what does sand do?
Needs pressure and explosions - overheated steam, for example.
you can heat the metal and put water on it so you can boil the water.
Wind should come tomorrow afternoon
the borders should be made of another material
afgncaap: I'll see if with a temperature system I can make lava go colder until becoming stone. cello753: Yup, and there WILL be lots of updates =D vote4cheese1: I will downvote your message, I have played "falling sand" (A number of them, actually) and this is the second fraking version, not a full fledged game.
