Way ahead of you on that! The next update has progressively scaling checkpoints, to keep lag to a minimum, and to keep the epilepsy rate of my game down. There will also be a limiter on the speed of the checkpoints, and while they still go pretty darn fast, there will be no more frozen, backwards running, or going so fast they don't show up checkpoints. I might have fixed that for you. Unfortunately your souls will go back to 10. Did you open the game in more than 1 window? The problem looks like a save corrupt. Could you let me know how it went?
Weird, my cooldowns seem to work correctly in this build. Does it say 16h cooldown in the tooltip or after you use an ability? Just in case I have updated the game with few extra checks so try saving your game and refreshing the site.
