I found a (minor) bug on the housing level(3 I believe). When you start the hack on the door, it is possible to grab a data disk, which pauses you, but then the game unpauses to do the hack, while the pause screen still stays up. This may also happen when pressing the pause button.
Only suggestions I can think of is to add some kind of "radar" to know where enemies are(bonus points if it acts like a real radar and can be upgraded), or to increase the view area by "raising" the camera...and to add a little number above a monster indicating the damage done by a bullet.
Funny, I was in a sector with two hackers, so I hyperspace into a nearby MP sector (commen sense, right?) so anyway, im flying super fast and woopydee doo, theres another hacker right next to me. I flee in terror, he relays me(I survive) turns, and relays again, and I die. Too many hackers for my liking. X_X
Theres two things about targeting ive seen and figured out. One, theres the targeting angle, typicly bigger ships have a wider angle, so you dont have to directly face them. Second, ive noticed this through observation, it takes longer to target bigger ships, so Warships can quickly lock onto a sprinter with a laser and swat it like a fly.
Great game, it be a 5/5 if the quitter problem was solved. I like the idea of a system where players can join or quit a game as they go, they can take control of the the tank that the quitter had, great idea right?
Will you SHUT UP about the hacker thing. HE GOT HIS ACCOUNT OF OVER 10K KILLS DELETED!!!!! That is enough of a punishment for just hacking, he didnt even use it for MP!!! Alot of people hack in SP by using an UVB then refreshing, THAT I concider is a hack, exploiting a glitch. THIS ALSO happened over 6 months ago, so SHUT UP ABOUT IT!!! God im sick of this ANTI-KYD stuff..
Bases would get stronger as you get closer and closer to lets say a Home base and such. And when a faction wins it starts all over, people keep their weapons and such but people who did the most (like most other players killed) would get medels of war and such. Just brainstorming, But just a list of good ideas.
OK, first this game needs two things. One, an all co-op server, wheres theres no MP, and then a real ALL MP sector, now thats would be fun. Noobs would use the co-op server and people like me and Kyd would kill eachother In all MP and try to make our race victorious. The space stations power would be increased, and would be immune to emp/UVB/UB/PCB and perhaps some kinds of mines. The entire game would be DISPUTED, meaning that once you destroy a station and hold that territory for lets say 30 minutes, then a station you own would be built. Also, to make it so that some faction doesnt win over night, a row of sectors would be able to be conquered, then you cant go farther then that, so you shouldnt be able to hyperspace pass the row of disputed territories.
