@speedypants, this is the FIRST Book of Mages game, so this is the beginning, and, yes, not as great as The Dark Times, but still pretty good.

Always have a stick or cloth armor in first slot, any thieves will be sorely disappointed.

5 Buccaneer with mithryl armor and weilding claymores on a vanguard and a dude comes up on foot to challenge me. *sigh*
