Since you find item in chest, you might as well upgrade only one item in the shop so you always loot it. Finished the game only with armor and a lot of money...
Great game but there are massive flaws in game design. When you make a game where timing, speed and position are important, you do NOT add slow motion to ruin the player focus... It wad the major difficulty of the game, along with positionning in the middle lane :p
Well i first bought the sniper and then the minigunner. Since i had a lot of cash, i bought the flamethrower and rocket. I regreted it immediately... The flamethrower don't even touch target when you have more than 4 friends with you, the rocket is pretty much the same. An army of sniper is invincible while an army of flamethrower is shitty...
I had plaid a level for a good 20 minutes. There was 2 towers left and a castle. There was 1 side of the castle which could be attacked without taking damages from the tower. The unit tried to attack the towers and three sides of the castle and they get killed. Rage quit.
