The balance really should respond quicker. The game has a very sluggish and generally frustrating feel about it. Still, a nice concept and for the most part well executed. 4/5
My biggest concern is how difficult it is to collect money. I would also recommend a sandbox mode for those of us who want to keep playing after we have fully upgraded.
The reloading system damn near breaks this game. If you reload on accident before you are out of ammo you lose whatever bullets were in the clip you had loaded already. When a crow would manage to get in right on top of me, I would bring the cursor in close to try and shoot it. What would happen? Like five clips suddenly down the drain because it reloaded every time I took a single shot. Just leave it to the R button. The cursor bit is stupid.
So some dude with a huge blade just came up to my shack. I pumped 8 shotgun rounds into him before he tore down my shack and he just didn't die. What the hell?
The first version was better. I liked the first version better in just about every aspect. The only thing I thought the first version was missing was an infinite survival mode.
I've played this game just for fun for what seems like an age. I always thought "If it doesn't have badges by now, it never will." I am so glad I was wrong. 5/5.
Also, is anyone else getting a bug where the words from the main menu "more games" and "gaming news" stay on the battlefield while you are trying to fight?
So I purchase the Browning and try to use it in the next wave, and SURPRISE! I don't have the weapon I just bought. I lost the round thanks to that bug.
