Nice game mechanics, great feeling. I do, however, lack a sense of achievement. (Is it possible to win the game?) I'd like to have the achievement system much more extensive.
Good game. I actually found it too easy on medium. I assume that is due to decreased difficulty! The end twist is interesting, and I'd look forward to a sequel.
As for the main gun, I agree it is slightly useless, I relied completely on my support ships. In it self this is not all bad, but it makes for less engaging gameplay. Perhaps a sequel could have a slightly more interactive way to control those ships?
I assume the shield is not meant to recharge, or rather only recharge between missions.
I loved the first one, but I can't say much is added in the sequels. It's a lovely mittle story, but not a lot of it to go through the tedious and way too easy dungeons. Too bad with no boss either, I was expecting to get some use of my nicely upgraded melee fighters!
"Sir, an unidentified bouncing object is wrecking our satellites. It's taken down hundreds of satellites! What should we do?"
"Send in the helicopters."
Could be a good game, but needs a lot more work. First, sort out the controls. It's almost impossible to get any fluidity in the gameplay because of them. Second, it's too random, add some tactics. Taking cover, aiming, ability to 'cover' and shoot as soon as someone comes within range et.c.
This is brilliant: simple, intuitive, but without 'the rules' being to obvious - it takes a while to learn and it happens at an intuitive level. Really like it. Some more levels would be awesome.
wolfgamer: if you do it is because you ran out of cash. :) So either you had cost at least 1000 greater than you incomes, or someone captured your base (which means you lose all money).
