I've played a few like this, but this one's more interesting because it's not purely explosives.
@Orofin-Oil floats on water, look at the oil spills, didn't you take grade two Science in school? Steam does not block water, sorry to say, but steam is water. Lava cools in the oceans to form new land. I mean really, before you try to put down someone's creation, go to school and learn a few things about the real world.
5545 was my highest, which is probably pretty low compared to other scores. Probably the best Christmas game this year! I saw this in the new games category yesterday while browsing for up and coming classics, but I didn't think much of it, though now that I've played it, I think it's probably one of the best launcher games out there, perhaps behind Toss the Turtle, but a close second for sure. It's not too hard to collect money for power ups, so you don't have to play forever to enjoy it. 5/5!
Hrmm, I cannot seam to catch the elusive lantern fish, but I boosted waay past 300 [= Nice try on the restrictions, but it's pretty easy to finish the game even with them.
It's hard to believe that this was the first game I played on Kongregate, about two or three years ago! I've played it over and over, and I'll do it again. I'd say this is a Kongregate Classic.
I played this when first it came out, and I'll play it again. As pepsitangomax put it in such justifiable words of truth, this is truly the best example out there of a quality Flash game so far. I've been waiting for the sequel for some time, and I'm excited for when it finally comes! Congratulations on a truly amazing piece of art.
Definitely not a fan of the restrictions, games that have them don't belong on Kongregate. People come here to play games, not to find other sites with games. Overall, however, the game was quite decent. 3/5.
This is really something! It's very original, in comparison to other games, like phage wars, or buble tank to name a few. It brings something new to the table, and I'd love to see another game come out of this, maybe with upgrades and such. 5/5!
Nerdook, your creations continue to be thee s hit. I've always enjoyed your animation style. Of course, like the others have said, the random navigation gets tedious, but also like Lazarony said, just change the layout if it's not working for you. Anyways, thanks again Nerdook, keep on creating.
847! It's an interesting concept, but it's been done. Canabalt, for example, and that had much better graphics, in my opinion. Like Astronautical said, maybe have the camera zoom out as speed increases, or have something like double jump after a certain point.
There's some lag happening with the green cursor, but other than that, it's a very new take on the physics genre of online gaming. Kudos for coming up with something new!
