wow, Im not even going to play this game after reading the developers nasty comments, from players expressing their pro's and con's of the game. thats just bad form right there. even if you made the best game ever, someone is going to have a negative comment, suck it up, and improve on what people express to you.
Just another missle command clone, which I find boring, but the graphics are cool, so kudo's for that.idk what all this propaganda complaining is stemming from, its just a game. sigh, I dont see anyone burning their TV or computer because they both spit out tons of even worse propaganda everyday than what this game is displaying.Or quit playing games with violence in them, because thats about almost every game, and violence is wrong.... we should all burn our G.I.Joe toys too, they display americans as gun toting killjoys. Honestly, what is the issue? The world will never be a perfect place, at least the concept for the game was an original one as opposed to the generic save your cities with you missle silo's. some people need to grow up out there.
wow, remember the original pitfall, where you could see underneath the ground befor you feel through a hole in the ground you could see befor hand? Oh, well. the hit detection is off, and you fall off vines for no reason. Good try though.
Personally, I don't prefer "testing" or playing unfinished work. And I can't imagine most people would. I can't imagine the type of feedback from something like this would be anything positive. I would be more interested in giving feedback on a finished product, possibly one where the questions of the quiz variety were based more on common knowledge and not so self centered. throwing up unfinished games to get opinions just says to me you half assed something and are too lazy to commit to a finished project.1/5
one life,no power-ups, no music, no story, no fun. But as a 1st game it is pretty cool. Just sayin, for future reference. What was that big ass ship i fought? Not the one that looked like a space station. At least you shootorial game didn't look like an exact mock up of the original shootorial game(you other's know what I mean..). Kudo's to you there.3/5
I remember in my youth, having one of those old Texas Instrements computers, agreeing with myself the future gamers of the world would never have to sit through a Hangman game again. Because even back then, it was a boring game. This one does nothing to improve on it. Oddly, the Lo-Tec version, yknow, the one where you use pencil and paper, is better because you can actually change the word, prolonging the game. How do you fail with a hi tec version of a game?
Granted in the vacuum of space there would be no sound, but that hasn't stopped every other side scroller to not add them. At least some music? A backstory would be nice, milloins of coin-op arcades did it back in the day on just one screen. How horrible the enemy could afford starships but no ammo, which is good because you die from one hit anyway, but you could just fly into the planetiod and live forever. Bosses. They can be frustrating, but at least they break up the monotony of killing the endless wave of enemies. Just some food for thought...
well, 1st real comment. is this game glitched? where are the consecutive waves? flying around in dead space.....exciting. This music is a little migraine inducing. fix it , maybe it could be fun
okies, for all you kids too young to remember the Contra code it is: up, up, down, down, left, right, left , right, with the directional keys, followed by hitting the letters "B" and "A" (because the nintendo keypad only had those 2).This code also ended with hitting the "Start" button, but its not needed here. Also known as the Konami Code. Changing your elephants color : hit numbers on your keypad 1-4.
Cool concept, but the song seemed to only play once, it doesn't loop. I dont feel the rave experience with the bright white background and stark red walls. A bit of extra programming to give flashing lights or maybe a changing background could elevate the game. I have to use a touchpad, so I'm dealing with rotating objtcts differently. I would like to see this game give more, like a score system, or some unlockables. 3/5 for originality and effort.
yay its PONG. No one wants to play that game anymore. there is better games now. thought I should tell you, unless your one of the few left who have only played and will only play the Magnavox Odyssey.
