The Mammoth Turtle is only useful for the first few levels. Once you get a healer you are much better off if the towers are not focusing their attacks on one tower. Sadly, the Mammoth has some kind of aggro mechanism so all towers automatically attack it.
If you have fast forward on inbetween waves, you will gain mana very rapidly but the wave won't come any faster, making you able to get to full mana for every new wave.
Well made for sure but for some reason I really don't get what is so fun with these type of games. It just feels like a frustrating game of trail and error.
I forgot to say, I think this is a great game. Fairly good controls, allows you to skill quite a bit and has a good set of upgrades. Just a few minor things that could have been done differently such as replacing dash with something more useful and adding more difficult achievements (I actually got to 1000M without using any weapon or killing anything on the first try when I had full upgrades).
Unlike similar games, such as Balloon in a Wasteland, this game actually doesn't require you to dodge or skill in any way. Except for the first few levels, you can just stand on the edge of the screen and shoot in the other direction the whole game without ever dying. Also, you will have more money than you can ever spend and the progression ends fairly early. I would recommend that you yourself can pick in what way the guns gets upgraded (reload speed, fire rate, extra shots etc).
To get the medals: 1. Guard = Don't leak anything. 2. Wisdom = Build a set amount of different towers (amount depends on level). 3. Wealth = Have a set amount of money when the level finishes (amount depends on level).
If you don't let any fan die for some rounds, sometimes you will lose straight away when the first or second one dies later on. For example now, I got defeated despite having "Lost fans: 1".
People often play casual flash games because they have some minutes left over, hence a game which you cannot temporary save the game (to continue where you left off), has quite the flaw. The save file itself should be deleted as soon as you load, but just a way to continue at a later time is a must. Also, there should be some very rare epic items that sticks with you even through death.
Fun game but I feel the "falling" areas really kills the pace of the game. Also, some areas has moving blocks that makes it impossible to not get trapped by unless you are lucky and they are moving in the opposite direction (such as the last falling area of "Top of the World").
As soon as a game is in 3D it seems to get a high rating regardless of quality. This game isn't finished and hardly worth playing for more than 5 minutes, as such it cannot deserve a high rating in my book.
The critical strike increase items stack and scale onto themselves. So if you have four of them you will crit for around 600% extra damage. The arrow rain skill uses your own crit, so it does quite a bit of damage since it pretty much always crits and hits each enemy several times. With a few points in mana regen you can spam it as much as you like without going out of mana.
