I enjoyed the game for quite a while, until (bad) luck reared its ugly head for too long and prevented me from competing with others. 4 months of dedicated playing yielded me too few epics (only had 1 ally), crushed my passion for this game. Perhaps with better luck it can be enjoyed longer.
