I love the logic!! The fact that you sometimes have to exchange one good for another and feed the animals is great! I couldn't figure out what the apple was for on the last level though!
I think the timed challenges here are a little tight. I've "almost" made one several times -- and I can't imagine someone who has a shakier hand doing it faster.
Why not have him use the normal guessing rules (even if it's just close) to halfway then cut halfway, etc? so you would start at 500 (approximately) then go to 750 or 250 ,etc?
I originally used this formula when prototyping it, but it seemed a bit boring. I changed up the guessing procedure by using a random range element instead to provide a bit of variety to each play.
The game is pretty good -- just a note to people who are trying it, click outside! Also I got stuck in the tutorial-- I didn't understand the game at first and lost (I had to restart and finish the tutorial before the game would do anything -- it froze)
ohh I will look into that...but if you or anyone face this then it is better to click somewhere else on the game screen rather than muting the sound at first instance OR reload the game page
For level 3, it tells us to lift everything at once -- I can't do that. If I pick up the green piece, it only lifts the green piece, then snaps back. I even tried moving the orange, but that snaps back as well, even if it did create a circuit.
The tutorial is supposed to convey that you need to press and hold to pick them all at once, if you have an idea how I can make that clearer please let me know :) I didnt use words because many players dont speak English.
phew. I had to stop a few times and take a break , but I certainly could have kept going :) I love the powerups you have and the fact that breaking those (when you have gotten enough) sends out shots in all directions
Thank you very much for the good review. I already told Lisa about it. She's excited! Maybe the apple in the last level is just for distraction...
