I was playing Control Craft but all I wanted to do was come back and play this game. Far superior execution of the concept and much more fun. Can't wait for a sequel. 5/5 and faved.
Teen suicide is much too common for me to find this funny. Whatever disclaimer you put on it, the creators still chose to make this about abusing people who are different. You can't get all sentimental about the It Gets Better project and then casually engage in a game that glorifies violence towards a group that already bears the brunt of unecessary scorn. And a group, incidentally, whose natures are just fixed and determined as any gay person. 0/5.
There are two buttons on top of your character's picture. The left one is the 'end turn' button that you need to press to skip your turn. I couldn't find it either, until just now.
I've been a fan since Defender and this is the best incarnation yet. Thanks for all the good work. 4.5/5.
Suggestions: 1. It's just as, if not more, important to see the enemy's strengths for the upcoming battle. It would be nice if you could visually represent each wave's strength and weakness (maybe two colours?) in the battle preview window rather than me having to mouse over each wave individually.
2. I'd like to be able to click out of the upgrade window for a character and onto the next person without clicking the "X" button. I can do it when checking stats, but I can't do it after upgrading and that's most likely when I'll need to.
3. I don't get the Talents. Never paid much attention to them. I'm guessing they are why the game got easier the farther in I got. I'm already upgrading myself and my characters. Having random bonuses given to me as well unbalances the game, imo.
4/5. Liked the concept and the look. I'd like to see it expanded, in terms of length and abilities, and have control of the tanks. The controls should above the tank or, even better, just have keyboard shortcuts that control whichever tank you've selected, and menus as well. That way I can be looking at the screen while my fingers are typing commands instead of being focused on hitting a fairly small moving target to command my tank.
5/5 for me. More please. I like that it's random and not systemic like Metal Gear. It's more exciting. And you can't kill the blue guys because they carry -guns-, while he only carries a knife. It was his father's knife, and the long and tragic story of it is there in the subtext of each level, if you'd only care to look.
Great game, thanks. I like the chain system and I think the targetting works fine. There's now way I could manually aim and dodge all those 'bullets' at the same time so it makes to me to have an effective target system. The bonuses make it worth it. I don't like all the poems and cut scenes I have to go through every time. I won't give you sorry, that just my opinion.
