it's a good game alright, but claiming to fic things from advance wars you've taken out a few of the key things that made the series good such as the detailed fighting screen (and with it the amount of troups and merging units together), the co's play no part and what you've essentially done is just boiled it down into your own version of Risk.
still it's a decent game i suppose.
Really easy, no real offp utting or hard to solve puzzles if you've ever done a puzzle game before. i assuemd i needed to do something with the floor but apparently not.
I thought the ending was funny as, especially the pose the goliath pulls.
Im gonna put aside the copycat factor to focus on why i never finished the first level of the game.
Evertime i used the up or down arrow to control the crossbow it seemed to just move to the extremes of up and down with a tap of the button. leaving me incapable or actually attacking anything. pretty serious flaw to a game like this.
Also, fails as a bowman clone
it's a game that's been done a millino times (namely Fishy) and it's a working formulae. alwaysna good game, i laughed so hard when the cats came.
also to the guy not wanting to get fired:
1) don't play flash games at work
2)press the mute button on your monitor or speakers. there's one built on every single pc.
This is essentially a poor mans Thing Thing, the charecter models are like madness but chunky, the weapons essentially differ between slow firing and fast firing with only damage difference and the same with the armour.
The enemies all work the same way too, double jump, run left, double jump, run right and repeat.
Overall i finished the game but it was incredible reptetetive and tedious. not something i intend to play again.
Brilliant game, focuses in what's important - The gameplay.
However it does get bloody annoying at times when your charecter doesn't turn fast enough or just something stupid happens that you know shouldn't.
It would be nice to have a clue on what i'm unlocking, i keep unlocking curddy powerups. Also it desperatly needs some more game modes in my opinion.
Brilliant sequel, sticking with the same combat. There's a few things i find annoying like the fact that some small squares take five turns to explore or the fact zombies with weapons run full speed and massacre your team. also why keep the RPG andm minigun from Kongregate and newgrounds. makes little sense.
My course is too long to post so it'll be on my profile. ive put a fair amount of though into it. for use with a mountain bike and is possible:
Can you get the cake?
A really easy way to get the Rock Mobster badge is to just use your powerups on armor, in the final stage you'll be a juggernaut. just watch out for blue and green mines.
It really doesn't help when the elephant can't move fast enough to get out of the way of the light beams.
also needed, a frame counter considering that this is a frame counting game.
@ Hahool
with the corrupter it's easy if you have a ranger or character that can stun easily, that way he can never have the chance to summon shadows copies.
goddamn though i seem tog et stuck at the lvl 20 mark :(
Brilliant expansion to the original game, could have done more with it i think but new classes and enemies as well as the shop were more than welcome.
i think i need to take a break from this though, lvl 101....
