Again, beautiful. I wasn't as constantly gripped in fear in this one as I was the first, and I'd hoped for a better ending than what's presented here, but this game still shines brightly; like NetMonster said, the scattered use of parts of the first dream was brilliant. It could've done without the one profane word, though. I'd give 4 stars due to problems listed, but Kongregate's pre-defined "Loved it" obligates 5 stars instead. :)

Very lovely! Backgrounds do an awesome job of conveying a sense of surreal location and assisting the game mechanic of traversing the fractures. The music is pleasantly immersive, yet just jarring enough (with the electric guitar) to fit the overall mood and theme. You're right, this is quite the unique theme! I finished the story with one or two falls, but the bonus levels do *not* want me to continue. :) Also, beautifully unoffensive morally. 5 stars. Excellent job.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a detailed review. I'll send your compliments to the musician and the artist, they really nailed the vision I had in my head. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

-- although the little level up musical phrase is a very nice touch. In the end, although I'd -like- to give four stars (probably due to nostalgia factor more than anything else, although I can also see a *lot* of work went into this, and it's mostly bug-free), I just can't overlook the myriad flaws that quickly pile up; in short, Legend of Pandora is okay, but I probably won't suggest this game to others, which thus tells me I really just stick to giving it three stars.

(at least on English QWERTY); thank you there! Overall, it had no real glitching going on, and that's great! -- but between the annoying screen-back-and-forth thing that various people have already stated and these two seeming accidental glitches shortcutting the ending, I'll file a bug report soon (plus about some poison issues). Also, I'm glad that although this was inspired by Zelda, it isn't just some badly done fan clone; it really is its own game! However, the graphics are *so* close to Game Boy Color Zelda games, I'm not sure whether you even made your own, quite frankly, or if these are direct rips/copies with maybe some tweaking; I'll assume the best here since Kongregate has rules against copyright infringement. The music I enjoyed, and I've often found myself humming out its little 8-bit-sounding main theme; the sound effects, on the other hand, feel uninspired, and the poison was especially annoying (even moreso when you win the game, and the poison sound effect continues!)

and therefore, there is no real incentive to play a second time. The rewards often felt way too under-rewarding, like subpar weapons and seemingly useless items (*when* you would actually obtain them -- whereas they might've felt a lot more rewarding if they'd come earlier, or if you instead got an item you'd actually *use*). There are two minor mysteries I didn't solve, but as already stated with the rewards system, I'm not given much incentive to figure it out, especially since I'm told I have 100% anyway. I'm sure this game's (chapter's) story is merely intended as a shallow layer of an excuse to hack and slash for hours on end, but even the final moments felt pretty anticlimactic, cliche (story-wise), and overall unrewarding. I'm sorry to say, but the real incentives that kept me going to the end were 1. Kongregate's badge and point system and 2. a desire to give this game a helpful review. The controls worked excellently for the most part, and were well-designed for hand placement

I finished it by accident (with 96%) due to a combination of what appear to be two shortcut glitches. Then, I went back to finish it the real way and got 100%. Overall, I'd say I enjoyed it more at the beginning than by the end. The quests, enemies, characters in general, puzzles, and layouts with much lack of puzzles were mostly uninspiring -- a few very-well-done gems here and there, but 'twas mostly pretty bland. The item variety *felt* fun (with nice descriptions!) until *near the very beginning* when I saw I could very easily just pick up the most(?) powerful sword while leveling up my sword skill and just continuously plow through enemies without much thought. Since there were only *really* three or four enemy types (in too long of a game to support that lack of variety -- bump attack, projectile attack, poison, metal, with two or three AI types on whether to seek the player or not), the game gave no real incentive to try other weapon types, let alone to build their skill --

Good stuff! Fun and very pretty with nice sound and music to boot. The closest thing to a bug report I have is that the font makes it very difficult at times to distinguish f/t and i/j/l, which can get pretty hairy, especially with all the scattered letters and big ships coming!

I haven't finished the game yet, but 1. there are a couple typos with the strange fellow inside the mausoleum ("Hi ,Name.I know you're"), 2. those are some crazy tough bats! more vitality than zombies?!, and 3. I'm really enjoying this so far! $:^ ] $:^ ]

Overall, great stuff. Very little to complain about, (including very little language, and Sonny's bare chest can soon be covered with a shirt or something,) but woooow, what with the incessant foul language during the fight with the baron? I would've given 4 stars for near perfection except that battle dragged it to 3. (Meanwhile, I haven't finished the epilogue stuff, heheh.)

Mostly, a fun little casual romp. Oh my, though, those last couple puzzles... I actually had to restart the last couple a time or two! Good stuff. Also, I throw in another voice for a "next" button and a dot placer! Thank you.

I see the community didn't like my previous artistic critique of Edgebee's work. I suppose this comment will get down-voted, too, then. ~shrug~ Something I forgot to mention, on the bad side of things, was that the new update also (by increasing all monsters' HP) changed the routine-practiced strategies and tactics I'd raised my cards through. Why would I want to spend a bunch of time relearning factors of risk and timing (for card placement and "card counting" on repeated battles) within the same game? No thank you; that was another big determining factor of my losing interest here. (Not to mention that -now- battles would start taking even -longer.-)

This game is *very* well done: EdgebeeStudios obviously worked and loved a lot on the structure (card rules, game strategy, collectibles, user interface, different modes including multiplayer, etc.) and polish (graphics, music, fun names for characters/monsters/items, etc.) and marketability (optional shortcut buys, exclusive bonuses, etc.). *However,* I came in looking for a quaint story-with-an-end card game, which I *thought* I found, but over time have realized my error, that it's moreso trying to imitate the MMO model. Sadly, today's update (which I'm sure many will love) was the clincher, showing that the questing will only build and build with no real end, and even my cards that I *thought* I'd *accomplished* something by *nearing* the *top* level are *now* piddly *mid*-range cards. Disheartening. I *might* poke around here in the future some, but really it no longer interests me.

Ha ha ha, that's so ridiculous. Quick, clean, silly-as-all-get-out, (did I mention quick?) parody. Four stars. Could've imitated more in some way, but eh, you did what you did.

Its cute and quickie-addictive, but it has a surprising amount of language. (Like, wow, the bat fight? No thank you.) On a side note, I agree with fathem that the text is nearly unreadable in battles sometimes.
