Apr 22, 2012 6:46pm Hey I was scouring the SHOOTURIALS for a method to prevent the HERO Ship from leaving the 600/300 boundary of the game. I tried your posted method and placed it in every possible place in the SHIP script. I was wondering if you had any suggestions? Im using CS5.5 by the way. Thanks

Aug 23, 2010 9:09am I am sorry you are color blind, but don’t blame the game. Think of it this way, now you don’t have to worry about seizures.

There are not many times when this is an issue, so when they do come up, I get to complain loudly :)

May 25, 2010 11:45am Reposting this for easier access. I barely go on Kongregate, more or less check my profile, so forgive me for my delayed response. I feel that you didn’t exactly comprehend my comment to its fullest extent. When I say social life, or hanging with friends, I literally mean hanging out with your friends. I’m not talking about playing online with them, as that is not actually “hanging” out with them. I’m talking about the physical interaction with people, such as your friends, and actually playing with them as friends not, not partners. I understand this may be hard for you to understand with your current mindset holding you back, but there is a difference between the two. I’m not sure if you have even ever met your supposed friends in real life, or if your “online” friends are your only friends which, considering your arrogant attitude I wouldn’t doubt, but there is a difference between online and physical interactions. Online interactions are highly impersonal compared to real life interactions where one can see gestures, facial expressions, and speaking patterns. That is why playing with console with friends is indefinitely more social than playing with a computer with friends merely as partners. All games take skill and strategy of some kind, that’s a given. Certain games are most definitely more difficult requiring more skill or strategy than others, that is also a given. Now there is many definitions of casual, my connotation of the word in this case is a game that does not take much skill compared to other games. Battlefield is a casual game, it is relatively easy to learn and, with a small adjusting period, easy to become great at. This holds true to other “casual” shooters such as Call of Duty, an action filled game which takes skill, just not very much as in the case of Battlefield. The question of what takes more skill is subjective as COD takes more individual skill with a fast paced game style where one must predict the enemies’ movements and act accordingly. Battlefield however is a slower paced game that introduces vehicles to the mix as well as much larger maps. Both games require teamwork in different amounts depending on the gametype. I’ve played both games so I am free to say that both games are fun as well as “casual”. I’ve also played on the consoles as well as on the pc, otherwise I wouldn’t have much to stand on this argument. There is not such thing as auto aim for the consoles, there is however “sticky aim”, not to sure on it’s proper name, that aids slightly in aiming opposed to auto aim which automatically aims to the next target. It’s actually ironic that you see auto aim bots, as well as many other hacks, on the pc, not a console. Considering I’ve played both mediums for BF, I can say that the slight aim assistance does not make a large difference because after all, the game takes little skill in the first place. So in conclusion, BF is a casual shooter, PCs require the same amount of skill as consoles for the same game, and you are in fact an elitist douche. show less

If you had come back with anything along the lines of “lol, noob” as a rebuttal, I would have been fairly upset. But you did not, so I find myself obligated to rip apart your pathetic excuse for a counter-argument… as soon as finals are over. Give me a week and then I shall get back to destroying the very foundations of your gaming experiences. show less

May 5, 2010 2:02pm I’ve met quite a bunch of elitists on the internet, mainly from /v/ though, but to see someone so ignorant as you blows away my definition of a douche. Bad Company is a casual game, on pc or on the console. Consoles are portable and easy to setup, this is why the main use of them is to play with friends. You on the other hand denounce consoles because you play on the pc and most likely, due to your arrogant attitude, have no friends to play with. So maybe one day you’ll realize that both mediums are both good in their own way, until then you will continue acting like a smug elitist with no friends. show less

Apr 3, 2010 10:18am It doesn’t have to be “epic.” It should, however, be good at what it attempts to do. It also doesn’t matter to me what other people’s reviews or ratings are. What would be the point in rating it the same as everyone else when I clearly don’t agree with them?

Feb 1, 2010 9:34pm dude, in Dream World the problem is ENERGY, not SKILL POINTS, which you apparently get mixed up. energy is what you need to do anything at all, skill points are for special attacks. *cough*uninformed*cough*

May 31, 2009 10:56am Maybe you don’t realise, but the developer can not add Kongregate badges/cards to their game – that is purely down to Kongregate and is the main reason people play on this wonderful site :]
