Does anyone know if you're meant to start with all the spells or not? My first time round I had all the spells, then when I reset the data I didn't have any and had to pick them up from chests. Either you get all the spells for free the first time or there was a glitch.
I really liked this, but I only ever had problems with time on two levels. The par time is too large to be of any use since I could do almost all the levels first time getting all coins in well under par time. Fun, interesting game but I wish it could be that bit harder.
The only two I had real difficulty with were Mirror and Hanoi. Hanoi I didn't read the title and so was slightly confused (embarrasingly) but Mirror was cool. What I wonder is why games never have towers of Hanoi with four or five lots of rings.
Is it just me or is there a really bad bug that swaps kills and losses. I've kicked arse, only losing 4 soldiers but killing 14 and it says that I've lost 14 and killed 4. My rank has dropped from 90ish to 115. Why does this game hate me so?
Why does this game hate me so? I need to graduate 3 or 4 students each month just to keep up. I'm on month 8 and there's no way I'm going to be able to go the whole year without failing a month. And then all the monsters respawn right around me so all the one's I'm trying to train up get killed instantly. THIS GAAAAME!!
The difficulty is really weird with this game. The flying is incredibly easy- I'm actually training up flying while typing up this comment. Whereas running is incredibly difficult because the jumping only happens between hops and is way too high so is incredibly difficult through no fault of my own. And then the swimming is actually enjoyable and interesting- until it gets too fast to react to it. Needs balancing better.
Very nice, with only a few problems: the fort takes no damage, the assault rifle is way too good, and it would probably be better if the later monsters damaged the balloon slightly, so that you had to keep repairing it rather than getting it up to 99.9% then using the machine gun to get all the achievements.
Just got to what I'm guessing is the last part of the Kathryn section. I work out whats going on and I get suddenly very emotional. I really don't want to continue playing. :( I love the mix of game mechanics and story. It's made me feel more than any game I can recall.
Urgh. Just... urgh. Huge slowdown, weirded out my Firefox and made all the text into the rectangles then crashed the browser.
On the other hand, a simple but quite fun game. If only I could play it without worrying about it breaking my computer.
Worryingly addictive, but not that hard to get up to level 18 or so without having to wait for more energy. I don't think I can really be bothered to come back to it though.
One thing that confuses me though: why can you buy healing in the main town if the Guardian heals you after every battle anyway?
Yeah, undo button and auto-pickup would be great. What would also improve it would be the ability to see movement and move immediately rather than have to go through the menu first.
Anyone else having the bug where after a battle sometimes the save game/more games buttons don't have text and there seems to be a translucent black rectangle onscreen?
Some nice stuff, but there's no way to start back at the beginning and do levels again if you didn't write down the starting level codes.
Also, either the spikes or the character's body is too large so it is too easy to die on the spikes, especially when you can only just make the jump without spewing.
