well, i did not export my game (the message with: hit ctrl+c did not show up, in most other games u dont have to do this yourself, so i just used ctrl+v in my textfile, guess what, didnt work), but I found the savefile. A strange thing I noticed: I removed the savefile from that location, and when i started astrox after that, the loadmenu was actually there (3 slots to choose from, possibility to import saves), and after i put my original save to its old location, the load-menu is disabled again (actually, the newgame-menu is disabled, too) the only way to fix this is to clear all save-data or remove the save by myself...did I damage the savefile? I still have it (and compared it with a working savefile i created some minutes ago, I can find a lot of similarities between them)
Any idea what to do now? (Because you normally answer: I hope I dont waste too much of your time, but I have to say: what I was able to play until now was really good! :)

Really hard to do this because the game is so good :| although i managed to hit save AND export before i finally reloaded the page to check if it worked...ofc it didnt ;(
is there a way i can find my export? or how does it even work? i feel so dumb :/
on a windows machine, open a folder and paste in %APPDATA%\Unity\WebPlayerPrefs , then look for a folder that looks something like chat.kongregate... with lots of weird chars. then in there should be all the unity save for any unity game played on kong. look for one with astrox in the name somewhere.
I wanted to play this a "long time" ago, but in my first try, my save got lost, and then I "didnt like" all the updates, so i waited until they were all done, so i can get the best experience from the whole game. It seems like its mostly done now, but i got a different problem now: you can customize how you want to start, and my question is: Are the default settings a good way to go? Or is it a good idea for a new player to, for example, increase the amount of maps, or slightly increase starting gold? Of course I want to be challenged, but...idk ^^
Thx if someone replies to this? :D
yes, the default settings are good for a first go. the beauty of this game, is you don't have to lose your stuff to continue trying harder settings. after you beat the default 10 maps, you can continue with new settings, as if you just started.... but you keep all your money and ships and items.
I would like to see how long ive been playing since my last reset, so i can calculate how long i have to go on until i have *x the amount of new angels
as a pugilist: attack, stun, attack, hide, walk around enemy, crit him and then bash this bastard into a wall (ofc u need the "shadow-walk"-spell for this disrespecting combo)
@billcat : thank you very much for the explanation :) i first thought it would double my ap (what was stupid), then i thought it would increase my rate of gaining max ap so i would have more ap at eg. lvl 40 than without it. But now i understand how things work :D
btw if you fought "too many" mythril golems...20k arent that bad
email me the save, ill see if i can extract the good stuff and return it to ya for import. jace@jacemasula.com
