yep, got the square according to your screenshot, placed the exhausted plant inside the flowers and then hit the recycle... it worked for me yesterday but for some reason, it didn't want to today

hmmm... very odd that the common flowers square method didn't work for me today. had 3 different exhausted plants to recycle and none of them gave me a flower after recycling :-(

@catgravy: i finally got enough common flowers to make the square and tried your method when recycling the exhausted plants and it works... thank you~! so hopefully i'll be able to get my sacred arboretum by the end of this year HAHAHA

Alcazar's Secret in the Travel Book is ANOTHER "Doll House" event... so be warned in advance of more upcoming frustration, due to lack of space, everything spread out everywhere (so you miss some items when merging) and just the tediousness of the "exchanging" of items. Thank goodness, it's just a 7-days event. I'm now guessing that all future 7-day events are gonna be the Doll House type while the 20-day events will be the Dragon type.

Mythical Flower Event: So when you're done with building the Airship to sail off to that far off land, you will lose 5 precious tiles space because when you click on the Airship Pad (4 tiles) or the Old Man making those lumps of coal (1 tile), you will get a message saying "You have completed this quest" BUT you can't get rid of the Airship Pad and the old dude. You can only move them off to a spot that's out of the way... :-\ So much land space is given to that smarmy-looking merchant that hoarding resources to build/merge faster is discouraged and therefore, frustrating... bad design... :-/ Yes, yes, of course I have the option to NOT play this event. I could also dig deep into my pockets to continuously shell out cash to buy diamonds to buy gold to buy energy... NOT~! Sorry CleverApps... a fun little game made not so fun

The Mythical Flower event is SO-O-O-O-O-O-O-O slow with too many different builds that barely makes any progress and is actually annoying

Game itself is challenging, graphics are cool and I'd rate it higher if not for the fact that there is no 'Continue' option in addition to 'New Game' I hate that I have to start from the beginning after all the time time I spent getting as far as I did... makes me not wanna CONTINUE
