For some reason I'm not being healed when I enter a town.

On second viewing, they're not actually SGA letters, they just look like them. *sigh* Still a good game though.

So I read up to 120 comments back, and I was surprised no one commented on the allusion to Commander Keen. On the second screen you encounter the teleporters, there's signs with vorticon letters on them (I think the letters A,B,C, and D.) I lost my galactic standard alphabet translation page, otherwise I would be sure. Actually the second thing I thought when I saw the werewolves was "OMG they look like modern vorticons!!!" This game made my day, even though it was kinda short.

Neat idea, but I can't get it to work. It says to click a new line, but it won't create a new line. When I load a different poem, it all appears on one line, and I can only read the first couple words because if I click on the box the text disappears. Is this some sort of incompatibility with my Flash version?

Yikes, I see SaucyJack's point. I've played this game already. ><

Good job. Looks like you now know how to create a flash game. I suggest starting something from scratch similar to this game with different(better?) graphics. Having a ship that big in a space that small would be even more sodapopulous (awesome) if gravity weren't so strong. I'm assuming this was your first flash, and if it is it's an awesome start. Keep doing what you're doing, and I look forward to seeing your first original submission.

And what is all this garbage about it taking too long between levels? At least it doesn't send you back to level select. It gives you a few seconds to savor your victory.

EmoIrish summed up what I was going to say about this. I reminded me of loops of zen after the second level. I think this is more fun though. In loops of Zen you can just click without thinking and eventually it will solve itself.

This game is featured on rrrrthats5rs.com Go to the website and look up why this game is so different from all the others. (I don't know whether this was stolen or not, since rrrr accepts submissions. I'm going to give Aragagg the benefit of the doubt.)

*sigh* I guess this proves they don't screen submissions. I give it a 0/5 and hope it (and all the other clutter games) is removed.

I have found that if I zone out while playing this game, I solve them a lot faster. No learning curve, just click and everything will be alright. You're not going to die, you won't lose points, you won't spontaneously combust. I don't play it when I want to have fun. And yeah, the music is kinda shrill at one point.

"unappologetically hard"? This is one of the few adventure games I've played that didn't KILL you if you made a mistake. This flash just makes a not-too-insulting joke and doesn't let you do it. I like adventure games where it's OK to try to put different things together and not just get the whole "that won't work" shpiel. I think what makes this game great is the feedback. "I think you have enough acid." "Don't kill it, it might be helpful." little things that steer the player away from totally obscure actions that take alot of time and builds disinterest. I also couldn't get enough of the loop about the boogie man. For those wondering about the second episode, here's his NewGrounds page: http://impendingriot.newgrounds.com/

Er, to amend my last comment I did in fact go back after I had beat the game to zap him repeatedly. It was a lot of fun.

As a side note for HeroOfTime007 about 2 comment pages back - I think they're robots 'cause they're easier to animate then whole bodies, goes along well with the whole cubish-ness of the game. I'm thinking the setting is the female's "mindscape", because alot of the rooms don't agree with what's on the tapes. There's doors where there shouldn't be, and no doors where there should be, and quite a few things other things are out of place. The blue guy never showed up, but what about that guy in the chair? On the tapes there's a 4th character, and all he/she says is ".. ..... .." in white letters. At first I thought this was going to be some plot twist about how your character is the doctor or something, but I guess not. But maybe the fellow in the CHAIR is the doctor. >.> What about him? Does he just sit in that chair for all eternity? I felt bad for him and didn't punish him even once. =3. (yes there is a way to do that.)

I liked this game alot better then most point+click adventures where you have to pixel hunt and look in obscure places for clues. In those games it's like "See that irregular pixel under the sofa? That's the corner of a page you need." But now everyone knows under the sofa cushions is the first place you look, so they've started hiding them in lamp posts that you have to disassemble and whatnot. This game avoided that heroically. *clap* *clap*. However, all the sound effects and the "aura" of the game, (no spoilers), make it out to be a horror adventure, and I was expecting something out of "7 Days a Stranger" as the ending. (that game and its sequel gave me nightmares for days)(during the day) All in all good fun. 4.5/5.0

Haha, I complicated the octagon room far too much. I sorted the colors according to the rainbow, assigned them numbers, then tried matching them to the number of blinks of lights both backwards and forwards. Needless to say that didn't work.

I actually loled. This looks like my first attempt at a PHP adventure game (only in flash). It never saw the light of day nor knew the loving touch of another player. It is, to this day, my secret shame. T_T It was a good effort, and is worth something as a learning experience, but I'd say think twice before uploading something this boring again.
