This game accidentally but accurately captures a socioeconomic phenomenon (law of diminishing marginal productivity/returns): as you have more workers, the efficiency of gathering resources initially increases but eventually decreases. With too many workers and houses (civilization & technology), gathering resources become harder and are left for a certain group of people (poor working class). Others stay home, play on Kongregate, or get rich with ads on Kongregate. xD
