What a wonderful game! I just absolutely love not having ANY landmarks or references as to where I am so if I clicked wrong in the map or thought I was going in the right direction but wasn't, I just die.
It's awesome how even when I'm in a tribe it doesn't show in the map, or how I can plot a course from somewhere I am not to some other place I'll never reach if I click "ok", so I die.
I also really like how attributes and skills are all attributes.
Funny how the person with the highest wealth, highest population and highest happiness (all by a long shot) is nowhere near the 100th longest played (not even near 50 days as a matter of fact) they just somehow managed to get 39912 population and/or 63117 wealth and/or 8073 happiness, all of which dwarf the second place achievers, and all in under 50 days. Totally not cheating, they're just that good on a game that requires random results to be even average.
Circus is always good, skelly and moulder and almost universally bad, denying the stump's first demand will incur a minor riot but eventually it will even out costing less than it's initial demand, and you just have to admit that yeah, you were wrong, Mage is almost always good, Vampire looking into stone is closer to 50/50, I got no idea why they bully the poor alien dude since the other ones are a major resource drain...OOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......
A game of "guess the consequences" with a bunch of extremely obvious ones and a lot of ones that make no sense at all.
Also, random luck seems to rely on your gold? Maybe It was just my handful of games.
Yay. the full version is on steam right now, and it costs more than gunpoint and unepic put together.
Holy hell that is expensive for an indie tower defense.
feels like a poorly implemented scribble of BRAID
when jumping back I have to move forward to be able to land on top of the obstacle when jumping, it's slow paced as hell in the first map, there is no reason to move forward but to waste time apparently (no feeling of accomplishment, no story, the music stops when you get too bored to move the incredibly slow main character...)
the idea of the music moving with the character was nice though, just so poorly used that this game is a disappointment
Pretty nice, however, what characters are undead exactly?
Why is the screen so small?
Why does it feel like minefield with the ability of kicking a mine until either it explodes and kill me or it gets thrown away and I live on?
can't seem to load my ninjakiwi profile after getting to rank 37
4-8 reloads every time to get it
downrate this comment if you never experienced this problem, are a jerk and don't want the developer to see this and help me solve it
probably just my net, but this is damm heavy for a flash game, also, waiting in between the tutorial quests bummed me off a bit, and the fact that I feel like I played this game before (long time ago) and that it is made by ...ugh, nexus biased my view of it
Has potential, but lacks just so much.
Terrible balance, Health is mostly useless untill wave 5, movement is completely useless since we still cannot move fast enough with it fully upgraded and movement-heavy classes diferent projectiles that we can't know about unless we play the class, lack of tracking for experience/progress that we can see at any time other than our deaths, extremely random drops (first play i got 58 candy at wave 1, second time I only got 27, I picked most of the candy both times, letting only the +1 pass), no feasible way to hit both sides of the screen to get rid of the simetrical distribution of enemies that shoot bullets at me from anywhere on the screen, so i have to choose one side and hope i can dodge the bullets from the other (unless i invest heavily on specials and neglect attack/candy) enemies spawning from my back that cannot be shot at unless you know what each special/projectile behaves like (and you only learn that by playing)...
thinking outside the box is nice and all but making it so that what the character is capable of changes every level without any warning or clue makes it pretty damn frustrating
there is so much room for improvement in this game, mainly giving us the actual numbers for the stats, the probability of killing enemies with the turn undead mace, the stats for the critters, the stats increase for the skills, etc.
long game, but seems poorly made because of all that
3/5 for the ammount of effort to create game, could be more if you got it right instead of making videos that look better than the game itself.
Nexus? Who's Nexus?
